Just wanted to let you all know I am so sorry I am so behind. As most of you know I have been sick, family in the hospital, no money for postage, etc etc (LIFE.) I fully intend to send all my swaps and should have a good amount sent in the next week. Thanks to everyone for being really supportive and understanding. I am not a flaker and you will get your swaps if it kills me! :)

My sister and I are both on swap-bot and sometimes we do the same swaps. We have noticed a few times that a swapper got both of us and mailed separately. Please note you don't have to do that!!! If you get us (we have the same last name) you CAN send together :: If you ever have more than one swap to send me, PLEASE send it together -- I am all about saving on postage! :: PLEASE include a note that at the very least, has your name and the swap name. But I really cannot stand receiving packages that don't have any kind of personal note. I don't care if you write it on a piece of scrap paper or a sticky note! I can buy things at the store myself. The whole point of swapping is to make it personal.::If the package deserves a heart, I will give a heart. You don't have to give extras- if you put love and time into a swap I will see it! My name is Ally, I'm a 22 year old female, and I live in Birmingham, AL. I work FT and spend most of my free time with friends and family, especially my nephew. I have a miniature dachshund named Cody and I believe he is the cutest pup in the world. :) I love to spend time outside, and I LOVE the summer (even when it's 100 degrees out!) I like to shop (too much..) and I love to read (pretty much anything that I can get my hands on except Harlequin romance type novels.) I am a total Gemini and love everything about it. :) I have 2 tattoos- one is two butterflies on my back right below my neck and their tails form a gemini symbol. The other is on my foot and it is a sun/moon (kind of reminiscent of a yin-yang symbol) and I love them.

I love most kinds of music except country and hard-core rap. Some of my favorites are Maroon 5, Snow Patrol, Incubus, John Mayer, Linkin Park, Kings of Leon, Jason Mraz, Mat Kearney, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Damien Rice, Third Eye Blind, 3oh!3, Katy Perry, 311, 10 Years, Lisa Loeb, most songs from musicals, and the list goes on and on.

I realized that my TV section is missing some key shows. I mainly watch the following shows: The Mentalist, Criminal Minds, CSI, Grey's Anatomy, Dexter, and the United States of Tara. When I am trying to sleep at night I watched forensic and crime shows (weird I know.) They are my favorite and I watch pretty much all of them. Forensic Files, New Detectives, The Investigators, Dominick Dunne, Law and Order (SVU only) etc. etc. I also LOOOOOOVE Friends and watch it any chance I get. I can pretty much answer any trivia question about the show EVER. Back in the day I loved Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

I am pretty new to the whole crafting thing but I have been scrapbooking for a while and it's still my favorite. I like to make small crafts like flower pens, painted magnets, etc. My new favorites are matchboxes, ATCs, and altered notebooks. I like anything I can make with paper. I can't sew well or do anything with knitting or crocheting so paper is where I'm at!

I also love repurposing things (I recently used a wooden futon base to make my headboard) and to paint and fix up old, gross furniture. I love to scour the dollar stores and bins for great finds!

Blue, purple, and green::Anything with big bright splashy colors::Damask. Damask. Damask- anything!! I Love it!!!!!!!! Especially damask-looking scrapbook paper!!::I LOVE paisley & polka dots::Board/card games::Video games::Mario and other Nintendo characters::Computer games::Nerds and geeks::Women::Men::Mushrooms::The ocean and beach::Bookmarks::SUNFLOWERS!!! I love them!!!::Gerbera daisies(a kind of sunflower!)::All kinds of fantasy characters like dragons and faeries (NOT cartoony!!!) and vampires and werewolves::Libraries::Cheese::Cooking and food. Lemons and limes. Grass. Celestial things::Maps and suitcases::Mutts and dachshunds::Sanrio (especially Chococat::Cats::Feet::Suns::Trees::Love::Tarot::Office supplies- especially sticky notes and Sharpies!!::Magnets::

I don't really like any kind of characters other than Sanrio and Nintendo. Christian religious themed things. Poodles. Alcohol and drugs. I loved the Twilight books but I hate the movies so while I would love to get something Twilight themed, if it's anything that would relate to the movie I'm just not interested.

The Rachel Morgan series by Kim Harrison, Sunshine by Robin McKinley, anything by Diana Wynne Jones, Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling, Dresden series by Jim Butcher, In Death series by JD Robb, Narnia series by C.S. Lewis, Terry Pratchett, Madeline L'Engle, Twilight series by Stephanie Meyer, Sookie & Harper series(es?) by Charlaine Harris, anything by Stephen King, Christopher Pike, Chris Wooding.... I'll pretty much read anything but I lean towards fantasy or horror, esp vampires/werewolves etc.

I am SO not picky. I promise. Pretty much anything you can find or handmake, I will enjoy. I can't knit or crochet so anything you can make me I will love. Things:

~Basically anything you make with love!

~Anything cute for my kitchen (I have a recipe box now but it is kind of fall/autumn looking.. a spring/summery one would be nice :) I don't need any more blank cards right now :)

My kitchen isn't themed but I do use green a lot.. kind of a sage-y or grass green, not dark or forest green

~Scrapbook supplies/papers

~Anything teeny and cute

~Pens, Sharpies, markers, highlighters, etc.

~Unique sticky notes

~Magnets

~Anything with faeries/dragons(if you want to get a general idea of the kind I like, look up Amy Brown.. not Tinkerbell)

~Sunglasses (I'm obsessed)

~Pretty hair barrettes (I do have thick hair)....

~I love love love earrings.. but my ears get irritated easily so I have to wear surgical steel, or silver or gold (plated is okay too.) Sorry :(
