I am a wearer of many artistic hats. I love to quilt, paint, do embroidery, etc.

I am a longtime quilter still learning alot of basics. I love modern colors and bold patterns, batiks and also the feedsack reproductions. But despite my faves if it is fabric and/or made with love I would probably love it. No particular favorite fabric brand since I mostly shop at joanns fabric. I don't have a traditional quilt shop in my area although I do buy fabric from connecting threads alot. I love Halloween fabric and I am collecting dog and cat fabrics for an eventual critter quilt.

I read alot of fantasy and such. Harry potter, lord of the rings, game of thrones series are some of my faves.

Love all kinds of tv even though we just swore off cable. Grimm, the walking dead, downtown abbey, call the midwife, Sherlock (UK version) and game of thrones are my favorite show right now.

I dont want religious items at all.

I do hand embroidery and I am working on a crabapple hill halloween quilt pattern called Spellbound. Urban threads is anothercof my embroidery faves. They have funky and whimsical designs. My style ican only be described as ecclectic and oddball.

I paint with acrylic paints purely for pleasure and enjoy dabbling and learning new techniques.

My house is a menagerie. My husband and I have 3 cats and a dog and a two year old little girl who keeps me on my toes. She loves frozen, my little pony, lilo and stitch and finding nemo. My older son is 20 and busy working and having fun.

My button stash is mostly vintage that was inherited from family and a few leftovers from projects past. I love wooden buttons and ones with interesting patterns.
