I feel like I should always lead with I'm a big Disney fan lol. I'll probably just make a separate section for that altogether come to think of it!

April 2023 update:

I feel like I have a big likelihood of getting behind on my current swaps. I work 3 days at the hospital and picked up bartending the other 3-4 days. All of which are 12 hour or more shifts o_O. April so far is kicking my arse. I am on week 3 of working 6 days a week & I am fully feeling it on my Sundays off. I also don’t drive anymore for now so I don’t drop off directly to the post office everyday anymore. It’s still unclear on when my work drops off mail but I’m able to leave it with them sometimes. Other times, I am able to drop off some Sundays if I want to make sure it doesn’t go through too many hands. I’m kind of bummed bc going to the post office everyday was my random happy day like popping into Disneyland when I lived there lol

I slowed down on hosting swaps for May bc I picked up the shifts at the bar (I’m normally ONLY tuesdays there lol). I thought of cancelling some of the April swaps but there were too many people in them, & I felt bad at the idea of cancelling them. Luckily many people were those I’ve personally sent to before or I’ve seen active in the swaps so you know you’ll get my mail! I’ve been able to work on a swap a day & get it out so I don’t believe I have gotten behind so far. I do periodically forget to click sent as much as I forget it’s time to assign partners as well lol. But so far so good! (As far as I know anyway lol).

I love paper crafts, whether it's flipbooks, pocket letters, flat mail, etc. I like taking the time to make them and it's always nice to see other people's artwork as well. I also like snail mail in general, like sending bits of things or packages etc. I do also sew sometimes although time always gets away from me and I don't always get the time to do all the stuff I like. I like stickers, just haven't figured out how to keep all the ones I like without regretting their placements. I love handlettering and calligraphy type things although one is closer to being better than the other.

I'm attempting to make different journals this year. I'm pretty much a hoarder (who isn't on this site though haha), but I never get around to actually putting all my harry potter stuff or all my disney "I'm going to save this!" things in one book. I'm going to attempt to this year! I just want a page or skinny notebook of just "travel" images, camera images etc.

I'm in various swap groups on facebook, so whether it's just sending pieces for junk journaling or just postcards, I am a big fan of all of it!

THEMES/GENRES

• avocados (especially kawaii/cute ones)
• Egyptian time periods
• Victorian eras, especially when it comes to stickers and postcards but honestly I will love everything
• mystery/crime
• "mail"/postal/envelope themes
• i love coffee shops! while I am not a "regular" coffee drinker, I love stuff with the images on it & I drink frappes a lot lol
• images of teacups/tea
• travel themes like airplanes (love paper airplane images), suitcases etc
• photography in terms of with old cameras/images of them and film strip style things on them; polaraoid style or anything vintage/old school about photography
• old clocks
• old/vintage photos
• door/door frame images
• PROJECT LIFE CARDS!
• literally cardstock/designed papers cut down to that size. I will literally write notes/journal on anything even if you have sizes bigger or smaller than this in terms of "pretty" paper.

THINGS

• miniature things. Polly Pocket sized random household replications kinda deal
• junk journal pieces especially collections of old papers (even if it's just a page), or just "stuff." I literally save the most randomest things, being a hoarder/rat pack is my life's downfall lol
• STICKERS! (pipsticks I have almost none of but I like them, stickii club is always great for doubles so I can keep some and send off others lol). but ALL stickers I will find useful! (i love decorating envelopes)
• postcards
• stationary! doesn't have to be a envelope set, I like to use them for journaling/writing notes and if I have more than a few of the same style, as notes to send with mail
• small notecards/tiny notecards (they're so cute!)

POSTCARDS

Eventually I will start a state by state collection, I just haven't kept up with what I have lol. If you have any of the following that you'd like to get rid of, I would be happy to be the recipient! Sanrio, kawaii, dolphins, hearts, lighthouses, clocks, 3D, shaped ones, unique, art/illustrations, but I can't say I have been unhappy with anything so far!

PLAYING CARDS

If it's possible, I favor number 9 lol. (19 and 9 are my favorite numbers). Also K in the hearts. If you have to send 3-4 then I would be happy with the KQJ and 9 lol. I do love snagging different designs (still on the smaller scale of how much I have!) and then sending out everything except those. Just recently heard about frankendecks... which makes a ton of sense when I'm always trying to find different designs for playing cards!

Harry Potter I like all the things about them but if you come across anything specific to Hermoine, 9 3/4, the twins, the glasses/lightning symbol, I would not be upset lol

Precious Moments

Sanrio The 90's characters like Pochacco, Pekkle, Batz Maru, Keroppi, Little Twin Stars and of course Hello Kitty

Disney big Disney fan the castle/things containing it on them, christmas Disney always even in the summer lol

I would love to get a hold of the older maps, older pressed pennies, old stamps, really anything nostalgic or vintage as I'm still trying to grow my collection of these!

I like finding random things and then sending those pieces out and then saving some as well. (For example I found a older Disney word search book-- 90's gotta be, so I will send out a page until the book is done, but will save 2-3 pages for myself for who knows what craft with be in my brain next lol).
