A few snippets about me -

~ My name is Dannii, I'm 33 years old (meep! when the bloody hell did that happen?) and I live in Bath (UK) ~

~ I love to go out, (more so for afternoon tea then out to a pub nowaways...getting older you know...hahaha!), and have a fantastic time with mates just having a laugh and I love to make people smile :D ~

~ I love penpalling and have been doing it for 24 years! (since I was 9!!) Oh how time flies!! XD I'm usually a long letter writer but I also like the idea for smaller letters but creatively done :) I love giving my pallies little gifts to make them smile :)

~ I've gotten into mail art recently and really love it! :)

~ Writing is a big passion of mine, I love to create new worlds, develop characters and use my imagination. I have so many stories in my head just waiting to written! ~

~ I'm the occasional nutter (in a good way!) :D Life can really bite you in the arse sometimes so why be serious all the time? ~

~ I'm obsessed with being creative! ~

~ I'm a daydreamer and you'll probably find me in my own little world most of the time ~

~ I'm making it my mission to try new things, to have new experiences - things like new foods, new bands, book genres, new places etc ~

~ I admit to being one of the most clumsiest people you will ever meet, I think I can fall over with style now... ~

~ I love to sing but I'm not a brilliant singer which is a shame for my neighbours (poor buggers!) ~

~ I'm a band 6 nurse (that means I'm a junior sister - just because people always ask what band 6 means...), but please don't ask me for any medical advice - that's what your GP is for!! XD ~

~ I've got into art journaling, creative journals and mixed media art. Getting messy with paints - love it!! :D I don't consider myself even very good but I love that art journaling is about expression, not being perfect and getting feelings out. It's very therapeutic! I urge anyone to try!! ~

~ I LOVE music and I'm always open to new recommendations! - my ipod wants to be filled!! ~

I'd love to swap with people from UK and Europe mostly as it is less expensive but I wouldn't mind swapping with people in other areas also with small items.

I am new to hosting swaps but please don't let that put you off joining my swaps! I have done a lot of research, and listened - and continue to listen - to the advice stated by seasoned Hosts and the Newbie Helpers group :)

Things you can expect of me as the host -

• I will angel if a swapper has been flaked on.
• I will be vigilant about who I let in.
• I will thoroughly look through every swappers profile and pay attention to ratings, rating comments and profile comments to see if you are the type of swapper I want in my swap.
• I will not let anyone in my swaps who have not been online for over 5 days unless there is a reason for your absence stated on your profile.
• If you do not meet the rating requirements I will not change it as I feel it is my duty to protect other swappers. However, I will offer to do a private swap.
• Advice from seasoned hosts is welcomed and will not be met with hostility.

FYI

• I am more than happy for people to use the same idea for a swap. No idea belongs to just one person, but please do not copy and paste my swap description without first asking me if you can do so. I do not wish to confuse other swappers into thinking it is a swap I have created and want to establish myself as a responsible host. And it's just polite and good etiquette :) Thank you!
