I LOVE crafting, creating, making, and diy craft projects. I love to thift shop and Hobby Lobby is one of my favorite stores. Also, I have been creating one-of-a-kind vintage charm bracelets for several years. You can check out my website to see some of my creations. I also create one-of-a-kind baby books using vintage books. You can see the baby books by going to my Etsy shop.
I believe in RAK and paying it forward. I also believe that "giving back" is very important.
I enjoy all genres of music from rock to country to classical and everything in between. Just to give you an idea of how broad my tastes are...I use to teach in-door cycling classes (aka spinning) and my music CDs included Elvis, Cher, Glenn Miller band, Nickleback, Metallica, Distrub or any other song that had a good beat for a cycling workout.
I love to read (for leisure) whenever I have the chance. Right now my reading consists of college text books. My favorite types of books are true story or biographies although I do like to read fiction on occasion. I know if a book is going to be good (imo) if I can't put it down once I start. If I can't get through the first few pages without having my mind wonder then I know I probably won't get through it. The last book I read was "In Harms Way' about the sinking of the U.S.S Indianapolis - a great book but it tugs at your heart strings.
I am having fun exploring differnet crafts. My favorite crafts are jewelry making, paper crafting, card making just to name a few. I love searching Pinterest for new ideas. I like to recycle, repurpose, and reinvent. I think a homemade gift is better than something bought from the store.
My husband and I are both collectors and we love history. I collect World War II era Sweetheart jewelry. I also collect other styles and types of jewelry...everything from antique to vintage to modern. My favorite jewelry to collect is mid-century costume jewelry. They just don't make costume jewelry like they used to. I also collect tribal masks, art work, and anything else that catches my eye.
I am not a picky person and I can find a use for almost anything. Here are some of the things I like and that I keep in my craft room.
*Beads (vintage and new) *Broken jewelry bit & pieces *Jewelry Findings *Charms & Pendants *Ribbon *Vintage Seam binding / vintage laces *Paper crafting items *Vintage paper items *Ink Pads *Stamps *Paper Punches *Glue (lots of it and all different kinds)
I recently updated my craft space. my colors are black, expresso, Tiffany blue, and black/white damask. I love the space!!
I have an Erin Condren Life Planner (vertical layout). I love planner goodies.
Washi tape * stickers * tab-size post-it notes * cute post-it notes *planner stickers & kits * functional stickers * cute paper clips * plastic coated colored paper clips * gold paper clips * gel pens * Stickers with sentiments, quotes or inspirational messages * white out correction film *
This is a list of a few items that I personally do not use or do not need. Please save them for swappers that would actually use them. Thank you.
PLEASE do not send me any scrap papers. I have way too much of my own and I am trying to use it up. Please send them to someone who could actually use them. Thank you so much for understanding.
I will always send by the send date. I have to budget my time so I allocate time for my swaps. I will usually send on the send date. If for some unexpected reason I can't send on time, I will contact my partner.
I will always follow swap rules. I take pride in what I send. If for some reason you have concerns with what you received from me, please contact me and I will fix it.
I will always be respectful and kind to my swap partners.
I will ALWAYS rate my partner in a timely manner.
I will ALWAYS thank my partner.
I will never host a swap that I cannot angel.

Happy Birthday!
I received the RAK goodies today and what a great pick me up!! It's like a treasure trove of crafting goodness:-). Thank you for such a thoughtful act of generosity and fun. Happy New Year and Happy Swapping! Sharhonda (~LadyWoods)
Wishing you a healthy and happy new year!
I went to look at your creations and I would say wow so beautiful! I have a lot of odd and ends stuff and hopefully someday I will make few.
My heavens was your package a surprise!!! You didn't need to thank me for Angeling my own swap, as I said I feel it's an obligation of the coordinator to do that. I definitely appreciate the fun surprise though, and loved you read my profile and added dries rose petals for my hermit crabs!!! I threw them into their tank and they went to town!! I always stock up in the summer when I can, cause they go through them so quickly! Their little pigs!
PS: What a wonderful surprise to find your package in my mailbox! Did you crochet the purple flowers yourself? The handmade fabric/paper flower is lovely. I just attached it to a homemade postcard for a swap. The metal hand and face embellishments are great. You must have a treasure-trove of intriguing stuff! LOVELY! Thank you again for going "above and beyond".
Jennifer, I got your "thank-you" package today. You really didn't have to do that...you gave me a 5 and a heart and that made me very happy! Thanks again for being such a wonderful swap partner. I LOVE everything you sent. You are seriously too generous, darling!
So glad you received my angel swap and enjoyed it all and could use it :-) take care!
Thank you so much for the wonderful Mother's Day card!! Mother absolutely LOVED it!!!! Thank you for putting a smile on her face!!
