A note about extras and hearts

I give hearts for the actual swap and not for extras. If the swap puts a smile on my face, you will receive a heart. I am very generous with hearts. If it’s obvious you put effort into the swap, even if it’s not my style, you get a heart. Ü I always rate fairly and always leave a comment. I do not send extras unless it's something I know you will really love. I hope you will rate my swaps the same.

Hi my name is Syndee (sounds like Cindy) and I live in the High Desert of Southern California, about 3 hours south of Las Vegas, NV, 3 hours north of SanDiego and 2.5 hours east of Los Angeles. I live at the northern base of the San Bernardino mountain range as well; just a short 20 minute drive to the mountain village.

I am a born again Christian who loves the Lord and I strive to live for Him the best that I can by His grace!!

I'm a mother of 3 daughters ages 32, 29 and my forever 23 year old, a wife of 36+ years and April 2020 a first time grandma to a precious grandson. I still call my girls baby when I talk to them and they know they will always be my babies!

I work with special needs pre-schoolers as a teacher's aid. I love it! These kids are amazing. As a second part time job, I'm overseer of the nursery at our church. My heart is for the babies!! In the past I’ve also worked with many different elderly clients. They have all been so precious to me and I miss them all so much. I look forward to meeting and working with others soon. Ü

Because of my busy work schedule, I do the majority of my swapping in summer.

My all time favorite book is "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn" My second favorites would have to be the “Anne of Green Gables” series. I really enjoy a good autobiography as well.

Some of my favorite authors are: John Grisham, Kate Morton and Frank Peretti.

When I have time to read, I enjoy a lot of different types of books. However, I don't much care for books that have graphic sex or foul language in them. I’m not a fan of sci-fi either. Recommendations are welcome! I'm always looking for new authors to try.

With my busy schedule I've become quite addicted to audible.com. I am able to listen to so many more books than I would have time to read! Some books I've recently loved are:

6/21-I just finished Kate Morton’s “The Clock Maker’s Daughter”. Very good!

6/23 Just finished Kate Morton's new book "Homecoming"

I love scrapbooking supplies, paper, cupcake themed items, hearts, the color PINK, gingerbread men, fibers, buttons, coffee, my chemex, ribbon,vintage sewing notions, antique mason jars, 1940's kitchen (especially the green of that era) stuff, vintage kitchen gadgets with green handles, adhesives (I'm an adhesive junkie!), sugar free chocolate, beads, baskets, bows, handmade cards, prima flowers, sunflowers, Gerber daisies (especially pink), just about anything PINK. Tried and loved low carb recipes I love candles or wax melts that have fruity or home cooked scents such as Pumpkin spice, Butter Cookies etc. My second favorite color is yellow.

Flakers

People who only do the bare minimum

The color blue is not my favorite

Ungratefulness

Pagan or Wiccan items

Vampires (They creep me out most of all)

Skulls

Anything with a dark, or horror theme

I am allergic to strong floral scents so please keep that in mind when putting together a swap for me.
