Just so you know:

I always rate the day I receive. No exceptions. I always leave comments.

I am not a flaker.

I limit the number of swaps I join so I can make the best possible item I can.

Medieval, medieval, medieval.

I love anything medieval (knights, castles, swords, shields, etc.) and anything fantasy related (especially gothic/Pagan themes, wizards, etc.) I like magic(k) related themes (wizards, spells) not pull-a-rabbit-out-of-a-hat magic. Fairies are okay as long as they are fantastical and not "Tinkerbell"-ish. And funny enough I don't really care for dragons.

I enjoy drawing. My skills, however, are more attuned to simple rather than detailed. (Example: very good at SpongeBob but not so much at Mona Lisa, understand? lol)

I love making and collecting ATCs. I like altering things. Lately I've been experimenting with felt. Most of all, I prefer creating things for other people, rarely keeping anything I make.

I enjoy crocheting, felt crafting, knitting (although I'm quite the novice at it).

I live near a seaglass covered beach. I enjoy making things out of the glass I find.

I'm a perfectionist when it comes to anything I make. I'm my own worst critic.

I do not like bling. I'm a t-shirt and jeans kind of girl.

I'm a 25 year cancer survivor.

I'm married and have two kids: a 20 yr old son and a 18 yr old daughter. I have gray hairs as a result...and I'm cool with that.

I do web design as a hobby and for local non-profits. I enjoy giving, not taking.

I am utterly fascinated by magic(k), the metaphysical, meditation, Paganism.

Doctor Who, SyFy channel, specifically Warehouse 13, Eureka (which is no longer on, sigh), Star Trek (TNG is my fave).

I like educational tv: History, TLC, Discovery

I'm completely addicted to the Antiques Roadshow, preferring the BBC version to the American show...primarily because the items featured are so much older and cooler...and sometimes I get lucky and see an item that's truly medieval (yay!).

Movies:

SciFi, anything set in the medieval time period. I don't like what I call "dumb funny". My all-time favorite movies are "As Good As It Gets" and "City of Angels".

Likes:

-Anything and everything Medieval, Renaissance, especially magic, sword fighters and knights, Celtic, Pagan.

-Anything relating to Paganism, Neo-paganism.

-Crystals (metaphysical).

-Runes, oghams, ancient alphabets.

-Anything with a fleur de lis on it.

-I like paisley patterns, especially on paper or fabric.

-I love chainmaille...especially jewelry, specifically bracelets.

-Vivid colors. Rich colors, especially darker earth tones. My favorite medieval color combo is black & red.

-I like steampunk and gothic styles. "Dark" is okay but not scary evil sort of dark. Know what I mean?

-I love the distressed, used, been around forever, could tell a thousand stories kinds of stuff. I like the muted, earth tone color palette of distressed/Victorian/shabby chic themes.

-I like nature themes (especially trees and leaves).

-As a cancer survivor I like to purchase items that support the Pink Ribbon campaign. Therefore, I suppose you could say I collect it.

-I love green tea.

-Any Zum product by Indigo Wild. I use only natural soaps and shampoo and their products are my favorites.

Dislikes:

-I'm not all that picky honestly. I don't care for bling or glitter, overbearing Christianity, pastel colors, or most stickers (although I do like the thick cardstock type).

-No recipes please.

A note about edibles: I have a few pesky health issues which require diligent maintenance. As much as I appreciate your thoughtfulness, I would prefer not to receive snacks because I probably couldn't eat them.
