50 something, divorced, ex RAF and much travelled in a former life ( pre marriage and kids!) Employed making tactile/brailled resources for visually impaired children...get to use all craft skills...bliss! I quilt, felt, machine embroider, hand stitch, knit, crochet, ATC, new to postcards, and frequently now actually finish things! I read thrillers, love movies, red wine, have 2 twentysomethings, 2 dogs and 4 cats ( all ex strays the animals that is! one's a siamese tart ) have spent years in cat rescue, no surprise no bloke any more .......right?!! I am spiritual rather than religeous,interested in both Buddhism and Hinduism, take great solace from the sea and beaches(water sign Scorpio you see) and touch things, wood, pebbles, tree trunks, lichens......tactile tendancies lol Fascinated by the joy dolphins seem to express, gorillas and their struggle to stay alive, natures hue of colours, (autumnal thru to spring)and snow leopards....so beautiful. Prefer placid calming colours to loud but do like purple! I am sensitive to emotions and kindly by default. I like poetry, wear my heart on my sleeve and am in the corner of the underdog V beaurocasy lol If you think I've not sent.........(unless I'm dead !!!) my cards WILL be on their way. If they go astray please email me and I will always, gladly, make up another batch for you, but don't think I would not send out. Thats downright rude and I wouldn't treat anyone that way. :)
