I'm a twenty-something, second semester senior at Southern Illinois University, studying English Literature and Photojournalism. I recently got engaged but I'm otherwise not really sure (& by that I mean I have no idea) what I want to do with my life & I'm surprisingly okay with that.

As an English major I have A LOT of favorites but here are a few:

Authors: Edgar Allan Poe, Chuck Palahniuk, Philip Pullman, William Faulkner, Nathaniel Hawthorne, Emily Dickinson

Books, etc.: Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte, Wide Sargasso Sea by Jean Rhys, the Harry Potter series, Turn of the Screw by Henry James

I dabble in a little bit of everything: photography, graphic design, collage, sewing, knitting, sketching, painting, jewelry.

I'll try just about anything...craft supplies of any sort are my best friend!

-I'm allergic to nuts.

-If I've read a book, I want to own it; whether or not I enjoyed it.

-My favorite time of the year is Autumn, although I cherish living in a climate which has four distinct seasons.

-I love the physical act of writing - putting pen to paper & scratching away.

-My favorite color is cerulean.

-I plan to start a chess piece collection.

-If I could afford it, I would go to schools all over the world for the rest of my life, earn a degree in everything that I have an interest in, & work only in the summers...at Camp Ondessonk.

-I need cheez-itz like most people need oxygen.

-I despise wearing underclothing of any kind. This includes socks, therefore I wear sandals year round.

-I am slightly addicted to punctuation marks.

-In my spare time, I usually do one of the following (in no particular order):

a) Create t-shirt designs

b) Craft

c) Read

d) Play my (new!) Epiphone Bass

e) Play Risk or Scrabble

f) Blog

-I carry my dorkiness with pride.

-I'm currently infatuated with goats, owls, & apples.
