I'm a 46-year-old lesbian animal and snail mail lover living in Hilo, Hawai`i. I have been penpalling/swapping fb's for over 30 years. I love long, chatty letters, swapping postcards & friendship books and collecting shot glasses. I'm also a HUGE animal lover and currently have 3 cats at home - Hilahila, Koa and Kui (aka "Princess"). I love fall and winter and anything pumpkin flavored/scented!

I will rate as soon as I receive a swap. I'd appreciate if others do the same for me. I want the ratings, but more importantly, I want to make sure my swap has been received and didn't get lost in the mail. It's important to me that the other person gets what they should (in 30+ years, I've never had anyone say they were disappointed in a swap I sent or didn't receive it) so I want to know sooner rather than later if I need to resend.

Also, PLEASE be sure to write your username AND swap name.

I love the holidays, especially Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas! I especially love the decorations (especially lights) and sending/receiving cards (I display all on my wall). I especially love snowy scenes (for postcards and Christmas cards).

I like lots, but '80's heavy metal and contemporary Hawaiian are my favorites. However, I really do not like country at all.

I love snail mail pen palling, swapping fb's, swapping postcards (I prefer them in an envelope if there's a choice) and other small souvenirs (I collect shot glasses), watching movies, shopping, watching TV, meals out, holiday decorating, Starbucks, washi tape, pink, purple, rain, etc.

I collect shot glasses, postcards, coins (US state quarters, euros and anything else interesting), shark items, Care Bears, My Melody items, Starbucks gift cards

I LOVE shot glasses! I like regular-sized ones with a picture and name of a country, state, or city on it and some others, such as ones with sharks on them, lesbian themes, theme parks (esp. DISNEY!!), zoos/aquariums, and unique ones (I have a sake-shaped one and also a beer stein shaped one).

I love swapping fb's and excess is always welcome! I especially love established fb's. I only swap regular and N&N fb's and fs's. I love HQ and decos but since I have no creativity whatsoever, I do not swap them (although you are welcome to send them, I know some who would be happy if I passed them on to them). However, no things like LB's, slams, lyrix, label bags, etc. I don't care for them, nor do I have regular swappers who I could pass them on to and I do not want to hold on to anything for months at a time, waiting for someone I could pass them on to!

Most of my pen pals no longer seem to swap them, so love to find regular fb swappers!

I like making fb's, too, but as I mentioned, I am so NOT creative. I try my best, though! I won't join HQ swaps because of it, but I think mine can be considered N&N (I hope!).

I have recently started collecting US state capitol building and US state capital city view postcards, if you can help, I would really appreciate it!

I collect postcards and love anything scenic (nature, famous buildings, etc.) that is real-photo store-bought ones (or if you have your real photo scenic ones professionally printed, that is fine, too). I especially love snowy scenes, city/town/village views, US state capitol buildings, US state capital city views, lighthouses, and covered bridges. I also enjoy ones of maps, sharks, holiday (Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas especially) during the holidays, and the artists Wyland and Thomas Kinkade.

NO cartoon or painting ones (with the exception of Wyland and Thomas Kinkade), plants/flowers/animals/people as the main focus (with the exception of sharks) or homemade. I don't keep these. I do swaps anywhere from 1 to however many you can fit in an envelope! The link above is my available postcards for swap.

I am not a fan of the Greetings From... or Keep Calm ones so if possible, save those for someone who loves them

If possible and swap doesn't call for it otherwise, please send in an envelope so it doesn't get damaged! You can send in an envelope even if the swap doesn't call for it, I will be very happy!

Unless the swap calls for it, please do not send blank and write a decent message, I enjoy reading a nice message, not just a simple hello or nothing at all! However, if you are sending something you are not sure I will like because you don't have anything to meet my preferences, I am more than happy to receive it blank. I am always looking for different postcards I can't find here (meaning non-touristy) because I sometimes am in need of non-touristy postcards for some swaps.

I'm ONLY interested in female snail mail pen pals who write long, chatty letters or postcard pals (that doesn't mean exchanging postcards only, you write your 'letter' on a postcard and write back and forth that way)! It's even better if you swap fb's and/or postcards as well. Although we don't have to have lots in common, you must at least be LGBT-friendly, like animals enough to hear me talk about them sometimes (my letters are not filled about only them), can tolerate listening to me talk about the holidays and don't mind delays sometimes.

If you write to me, you'll have to have a fully filled out profile and have to tell me something about yourself, or I won't respond. If I responded to everyone who said something like, "wanna be pen pals?" and didn't tell me anything about them, I'd probably have over 1,000 pen pals! I'm only interested in long-term, long letter pals or postcard pals who are interested in becoming good friends.

I'd be happy to do one-time private swaps with anyone who has good ratings. And if it's postcards, send me a link to what you have available!
