Hello swappers, I'm Katie! I'm 39 years old and I live in northern Virginia, near Washington D.C. I love all things creative and crafty and I usually spend my free time knitting, sewing, quilting, cooking, baking, practicing calligraphy or attempting to draw. I also enjoy long bike rides and walks with my dog. And snail mail of course!

I always read my partners profile and try to send things they will like, even when it's not required. I've discovered that I enjoy sending more than receiving! My goal is to create a beautiful piece of mail that will put a smile on my partner's face. I've received some truly special swaps that the sender has clearly put a lot of thought and effort into and it absolutely makes my day ♥

If you haven't received a swap from me in a timely manner, please let me know and I will be happy to resend. I will never flake and I always send my swaps on time!! That being said...I understand that life gets in the way sometimes, so if you need a little more time to send just let me know.

For gift type swaps...I like sheet masks, lip balm and other bath/beauty stuff, soft cover journals, candles, gummi candy, tea, hot chocolate.

For junk journals my favorite themes fall into two categories: 1) roses and other florals, lace and doilies, basically shabby chic and 2) industrial, steampunk, and a bit of grunge. I love to combine the two!

I love to play with antique and vintage ephemera and papers, especially map pages, music sheets, ledger pages, stamps and postmarks.
