My father has been diagnosed with Moderate Dementia. With me being his immediate caregiver half the time, sometimes other things have to take a back burner for a few days...

I have recently gotten in to books about vampires... It all got started with Twilight...

I love all kinds of music... Anything from Classical to Hard Rock... I am not a big fan of Techno tho...

Why I’m a Leader

I’m not a Girl Scout leader for the easy hours, high pay, parents’ gratitude, power or prestige.

I’m a leader because I want the world for your daughter and mine.

A world she can share and help shape.

A world of love and laughter where she can show compassion.

I want to help her learn to finish anything she starts and do it well and to guide her to know her worth with a deeper understanding of herself.

I want to help shape women who have strength of character and are sensitive to the needs of others.

In giving of my time and myself I reap rewards far beyond what I give.

I receive a better world for my children and future generations.

I love to sew... I have been sewing since I was 14... Sewing is stress reliever... I also love to crochet...

Scapbooking is a new hobby for me... My girls had to learn the basics of it to earn their patches and I got hooked in the process...

1. Stand under the Eiffel Tower.
2. Float in the Dead Sea.
3. Ride the London Eye.
4. Visit the Louvre Museum.
5. Walk through a vineyard in Tuscany.
6. Earn my 1st Associates Degree.
7. Walk the Strip in Las Vegas. (Oct. 2011)
8. Watch my nephew graduate high school.
9. Step into the Pacific Ocean.
10. Go to the top of the Empire State Building.
11. Visit the Statue of Liberty.
12. Walk across the Brooklyn Bridge.

Nothing gets under my skin more than when I read a nasty comment that someone has left for someone else... I mean come on people... If you wouldn't want your momma to read it then put it in a private message... Don't post it for the world to read... If I posted something like that my granny would roll over in here grave...

I guess that just goes to show that everyone doesn't have a southern up-bringing... We were taught that you don't air your dirty laundry for the whole world to see... Also that if you don't have anything nice to say, then you keep your mouth shut or learn to like the taste of soap...

One more thing... What is up with all the people not allowing NEWBIES to join in a swap??? Have they forgotten that they were once new too??? Guess people don't live by the Golden Rule anymore..."Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."
