We have moved to another state, Virginia. We found a home in the mountains. It’s so pretty here. Not much to do here though but the view is worth the move. Not many jobs here either but I found one it’s not what I was hoping for but I need to work. The cell service here sucks and sometimes I can’t get on the internet. This is the second time I’ve tried to edit my profile, the connection gets lost way too much. I’m hoping to get more of my things moved here so I can join the Christmas card swaps this year. My husband is still in NC because he has to work until the end of this year before he retires. He comes up on the weekends with a car load of boxes. I’m working now so he gets to do most of the packing which he doesn’t like. But at least there isn’t a hurry to get it done. Update again. We’re finally all moved in but still have some unpacking to do. We donated a lot of things because this house is half the size of what we had. I’m glad to be rid of most things. I had thousands of cards from swapbot, more than I thought I had, I donated some of them to the free store in town and they were very happy to get them. I don’t think I’ll join as many card swaps as I used to because I just don’t have the room to keep them. The smaller house is easier keep clean and I love it.

I have a son and a daughter. I have three grand daughters and 4 grandsons. 2 are step grand children. I also have 2 step daughters. We are all in different states so we don't get to see the kids as much as we would like to. I have been married for 34 years to a man who can do anything except give a perm! We have 3 chihuahua's . Mr Putnam, Pepper (son of Putnam) and Gracie who is full of energy. Gracie is the youngest of the bunch and is the most aggressive and loud. I like to make and send cards. I do some sewing, I have to be in the mood for it. I also collect Barbie dolls, I have about 300 dolls and a lot of her clothes, houses, cars, christmas ornaments, cards, just about any thing to do with Barbie doll. I have been selling my dolls because I am running out of room for her. And I collect postcards. I have done a scrap book (but did not finish it). It takes too long to work on it. So I don't do a lot of scrapping. I taught myself how to make lye soap about a year ago and wish I could make and sell soap for a living. But for now it's just another hobby. I don't listen to a lot of music but when I do it's the oldies for me, 70's. My favorite singer is Neil Diamond. As for books I don't read a lot of books. But I crochet bookmarks (as some of you have recieved in my Christmas card swaps). Swapping Christmas cards is my favorite thing to do on here.

Favorite television shows are any craft shows, comedies, American pickers, Ghost hunters and most haunted. As of Feb. 2011 we disconnected satellite tv so now my favorite tv show is All in the family. There aren't many good shows on antenna tv so now I just turn it on for back ground noise and get a lot more other things done around the house.

Here are some things I like............ Jewelry charms, home made soap, candles, cats, christmas, Neil Diamond, Barbie dolls, Pepsi, my favorite flower is the Hibiscus in any color.

For the postcard swap, I like all kinds, presidential, Princess Diana, recipes, mountains, maps, states, state capitals any kind but no offensive or nudity cards please. I would really like to recieve postcards of dolls if you have any. I know I make mistakes in my spelling but hey, this is a postcard swap not a spelling lesson. I send out a lot of postcards so sometimes I will make a mistake in your name or forget what I have read in your profile, but I don't mean to make anybody upset about my forgetfullness or bad spelling. I like to send out what people like and if I don't have what you like I will send what I like. :)

We have a new addition to our family, a great grand daughter named Scarlett Rose born July 6th 2017. I was lucky enough to be there for the birth. I was expecting a lot of crying and screaming but my grand daughter did great it was over so fast and everything is good. I just wish we lived closer to her so I could see her more often. I get pictures but I would like to hold her.
