Hello! I'm 42 years old, married with 2 beautiful children! We are all animal lovers. Currently we have 2 calico kitties and a black and grey tabby cat and we recently adopted a 3 year old Pomeranian we named Chewbacca. I love to craft, read, watch TV such as Dr. Who, Game of Thrones and all things Joss Whedon. My son has high functioning autism and I wouldn't change him for the world! I love superheroes, especially from the DC universe. In my spare time, I love to go geocaching and take lots of pictures. I look forward to hearing from you soon! If anyone would like to write directly to me, I'm always looking for pen pals! Update 10/27/2015 I have chronic pain and it's been kicking my butt lately. I'm cutting back on swaps, but finishing the ones I am currently signed up for and will continue the traveling swaps! Update 1/17/16 My pain comes and goes. My pain doc said there's nothing much else they can do except up my medication. I'm trying to do more and not let my pain control my life! October 2, 2016 - Twice now I have been accused of not sending swaps. I ALWAYS send my swaps no matter what is going on in my life. It's almost enough to make me quit. If it happens again, I'm done with drama. I have enough going on in my own life then to be pulled into more pointless drama. If you didn't get something, reach out to me first please. Sometimes the mail does get messed up but please do not accuse me of not sending! Rant over.

My favorite kind of music to listen to will be and always will be The Grateful Dead. I have been a "Deadhead" for 25 years now and what a long strange trip it's been. I also enjoy listening to country music! I also love The Beatles! In the car, I'm usually rocking out to top 40 or country or the 70's station. Depends on who is in the car with me! :) Do podcasts count as music?? If so, I am so addicted to My Favorite Murder! SSDGM!

I am an avid reader. I am always reading something new. I can't really say what genre is my favorite, except I don't really enjoy romances! Let me rephrase that. I don't like them at all. My all time favorite book is Tailchaser's Song by Tad Williams. It's a fantasy told from the viewpoint of cats! My favorite authors are Stephen King, Dean Koontz, John Grisham, Kurt Vonnegut, Jack Kerouac, David Wong (John Dies At the End) and George R. R. Martin. Also the Harry Potter series and the Hunger Games trilogy! I recently joined Pottermore and have been sorted into Hufflepuff!

I enjoy all kinds of different movies, the geekier, the better! I love all things DC and Marvel! And Joss Whedon of course! I have to admit horror movies are my favorite! I LOVE Harley Quinn! Hi puddin'! Along with comic book movies, I LOVE the Pitch Perfect movies and the Harry Potter movies.

Lately I've been obsessed with Doctor Who! I also love Game of Thrones (books and the show), Agents of Shield, Shameless, The Walking Dead, Comic Book Men (I've met Walt and Mike at the Stash), Bates Motel, Cake Wars, Orange is the New Black, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Firefly and Community.

I love to draw, write letters, zentangle, and making jewelry! Thank you to all who have sent me coloring materials! I love to color! It's so peaceful to me!

Random Things I love: Harley Quinn from DC, Batman, Kitty cats, Anchors, Anything to do with surfing or the beach, Dolphins, Turtles, Philadelphia Eagles, Photography, Lego video games, Coloring, Minions, Star Wars, Peace, signs, Jeeps (models up to 2006), Kawaii letter sets, stickers and pens, and Stitch! My favorite holiday is Halloween! I love all things with witches, fairies, dragons, or otherwise supernatural. Also, anything pertaining to Pokemon Go would be appreciated! Of course my favorite Pokemon is Pikachu but I also love Squirtle, Charmander and Jigglypuff!!! If you send me Jamberry nail wraps - so obsessed!! - automatic heart!! When I have spare time, I love to go out with my camera and take pictures. I take my camera wherever I go. Currently I have a Nikon D3100 DSLR and a Fujifilm point and shoot. My favorite places to shoot are the beaches and Philadelphia. I love to write letters, draw, but my all time favorite is geocaching! But I need my creature comforts from home while camping like electricity and running water. We have a travel trailer that we like to take all over the east coast. I collect patches and pins from wherever I go. I'm also obsessed with all things surfing! I would love to receive from swaps, stationary, especially Kawaii featuring Rikaluma, pens - the cuter the better, pins from your area, patches, love Kawaii sticker flakes, Kawaii memos any size, ATC's, pictures of landscapes you have taken (I love beaches and the ocean), and anything purple or blue! I just started playing Pokemon Go and I'm so addicted!!!!!

For book swaps, please do not send me romances. I tried them and I don't like them. I know it's sender's choice but all I ask is no romances of any kind. And no tea please! Thanks in advanced! I try and take the time to read my swap partner's profile before sending any swap, even sender's choice. I also try to send my swaps out a day or 2 after partners have been assigned. I CAN'T STAND HIM, beach, oceans, and book related. A note hello, quote or sing lyric on the back would be great! I just started to collect Kawaii stuff so any would be appreciated! Postcard wishlist: cats, any sea creatures, Kawaii, lighthouses, beach scenes, Dr. Who, Star Wars, Star Trek, DC or Marvel, any strange and unusual, witches,, artsy, dragons... I'm pretty easy going :) Wish list: pretty stationery, pretty pens, especially ones that write purple or green, gel pens for coloring, any Sakura of America products, materials for making ATC's, blank postcards, psychological thriller books, adult coloring books, and for my kids, Disney Descendants.
