my birthday is October 12th! Birthday cards will probably get you extra brownie points :D
I'm a 25 year old body piercer from northwest Indiana. I've been married to the love of my life, Jon, for two years. Our anniversary is May 25th. We don't have any kids yet, but we expect to start a family in the very near future! We have two dogs, a blue heeler named Shortee and Dolly Parton, a chihuahua. I'm atheiest, so please, nothing religious unless it is kitschy or tattoo-related (so, a Virgin Guadalupe would be cool.. a Hello Kitty-as-Virgin Guadalupe is cooler!)
Anything by Joyce Carol Oates... particular favorites include Foxfire (of course), We Were the Mulvanneys, and The Tattooed Girl.
I'm a HUGE papercrafter.. scrapbooking and card making are my favorites. I like to use found pieces of paper and altered photos the most.
I also like to sew, just as long as it is a forgiving project (i.e., curtains, bags, and intentionally funny-looking stuffed animals.)
I like making soap, too!
skulls
lowbrow art
tattoo art
Hello Kitty
pinups
coffee!
sushi
anything gambling-related.. I love Texas Holdem especially!
reading
feminism
body piercings
birds - owls and peacocks in particular
vintage
zombies
dogs and puppies
monsters and scary things
all things Halloween
kitsch
horror, especially Leatherface (thus my screen name).. also Frankenstein, Bride of Frankenstein, the Crypt Keeper, etc.
cupcakes
tote bags
pink flamingos
gardening
hair accessories
vegetarianism
fruits and vegetables
robots
kawaii
snacks! tasty ones!
bicycles
anything eco-friendly: we compost, grow our own food, don't use plastic bags, etc.
old country music
And weird stuff.
earrings... Not so much a dislike, but I have stretched ears (1") and I cannot wear post, hook or clip on earrings.
cats
fat-phobia
meat
vampires (except Bella Lugosi as Dracula)
makeup
smoking
shopping
hate of any kind
drugs (you never know...)
religious things (read in my About Me section) JUST A NOTE: Anything that has a cross or Jesus fish on it, says "In God We Trust," etc. IS CONSIDERED RELIGIOUS. DO NOT SEND IT. I will rate you poorly, especially now that I have a disclaimer on my page....
jerks!
knee socks & toe socks
and all things Twilight.. sorry, Twilight lovers!
I like a little bit of everything! A few of my particular favorites are the Misfits (Danzig-era, not the new crap), Danzing (obviously), Kings of Leon, Elvis, The Creepshow, The Black Keys, We Were Promised Jetpacks, The XX, Dashboard Confessional, Rancid, Detroit Cobras, Mumford and Sons...
I like old country and outlaw country. I'm talking about Hank Williams, Hank Williams Jr., Hank III, Patsy Cline, Imelda May, Dolly Parton (I have a portrait of her tattooed on my forearm! Let me know if you want to see it! lol), Johnny Cash, Those Darlins, etc. NOT NEW POP COUNTRY. No Faith Hill, no Toby Keith, not even Garth Brooks. The only newer band I can tolerate is Rascal Flatts, as long as the song isn't depressing.
As far as Pop goes, I like Lady Gaga, Ke$ha, La Roux, and yeah, I'll say it.. Britney Spears.. but only if its the new, trashy, dancy stuff.
There is no food or drink that I do not like. Like, seriously. NONE. I don't like salty candy.. that's about it. I'm a vegetarian, but if I enter a food-related swap and someone sends me something with meat or a meat-product in it, my husband will GLADLY eat it :)
Teas!
Charms of all kinds: plastic, glass, metal, clay, etc. People, animals, buildings, shapes, etc. Not so much pendants, as I am VERY choosy in what kind of jewelry I wear, unless it fits with something I like (owls, skulls, tattoo stuff, crafty things, etc.) More so charms that I can use in crafts. The weirder, the better!
Personalized address labels! I don't like to make them myself, but one of the best swaps I ever received included personalized address labels. The swapper took bits of info about me from my profile (a pink flamingo, a cute owl, the bride of Frankenstein, etc.) and it is one of my favorite things I ever received!
Business cards, stickers, or promotional items from tattoo shops in your neighborhood (ESPECIALLY if they aren't in the USA!)
Cute origami!
Friendship bracelets! I can't figure out how to make them.. I prefer earth tones or jewel tones, but I would love any of them.
amigurimi! I cannot crochet or knit.

Wait, I should clarify a little bit...I am a Hoosier, but I am not currently living in Indiana. I was born and raised in Brownsburg (suburb on Indy), but I've lived here in AZ since I was 14! I still consider Indiana "home" though. :)
AHH! I'm your partner for "the little things" and damn you're cool. I promise to make this a swap you're going to LOVE.
