About Me
I'm a stay at home mom with a crafting habit! I make and sell natural, handmade toys and children's gifts.
I have two little businesses, a dayhome and I sell handmade toys on Etsy. I love that both allow me to be at home with my 4 year old.
I like to cook, read, stay active and watch reality TV. I almost never watch movies, but I just saw The Help, which is one of my new all time faves! I love people but I also enjoy spending time alone.
Favorite Crafts
I love to sew, crochet, cut and paste, or just about anything else. My favorite crafts are the ones I haven't tried yet!
Favorites
Colors: Pink, Gray, Black and White. Not Orange!
Style: Simple, Modern, Practical.
Craft Supplies I like: Wool felt, designer cotton fabric, cotton and wool yarn or bulky acrylic for making scarves. Rubber stamps, clear stamps, and archival ink in colors. Watercolor pencils, thin-line permanent markers, nice paintbrushes whiteboard markers and pencils. Vintage buttons! Sewing tools (quilting pins, stitch rippers, gutterman thread and so on), cotton quilt batting, unfinished wood pieces. I always prefer natural materials and I'd prefer a smaller package with high quality items than a package stuffed with lower quality items!
Food: Coffee, raspberries, blueberries, tea, PB&J, health-food-store-finds and nachos. Mmm. Allergic to cloves! I'm not a big candy eater, but I do like gum and chocolate.
Things I don't like: Not a big fan of brown or orange (although I do like them in small doses) I hate Chai tea (allergic to cloves...) Paper, scrapbooking or otherwise, unless it's a pad of paper with lines so I can make lists! Halloween. Not into spooky or gross! Messes Movies

Yeah it's really cool. I don't have any of my own handmade stuff on my etsy yet as I sell mt (japanese washi masking tape), craft mags/books and vintage children's books. Altho I might put my zine up for sale soon. I noticed you checked out my pinterest and starting following my boards - thanks :D

i also saw 'the help' recently and it was amazing. i had read the book (couldn't put it down) but the movie version blew me away. they casted the characters so well!

something different for us that is that i love paper! i love paper in any form from scrapbook paper to letterwriting paper to foreign language newspapers and ephemera!

Ah yes...the orange question! I don't hate orange...I still think orange butterfly or flowers are pretty and I like the flavor orange, but I do hate to wear it! It makes me feel icky and doesn't flatter my coloring!

I had to smile at the PB&J being in your likes. I won't give my age..(lol) But I am older than dirt if you ask my daughter, But I have found that still to this day the PB&J is my most perfect food! Nothing beats it. :O)
I am pretty new to the site as well but have enjoyed seeing all the new type mail items that people are making. It is amazing and makes a mail box so nicer to open..haha

Like yourself, I love my reality TV. I tend to get attached to shows for a season, and then am sad when they're over, like a friend I look forward to seeing once a week. laughs I just read the novel version of "The Help", and I really enjoyed it, so planning to see the film soon.
I don't like orange, either. It clashes with my pale skin and bright red hair. However, I dislike yellow even more. Apologies to the person who posted the rainbow and sunshine graphic below!
