I'm an art student in Portland, Oregon. Next year I'm going to be starting my senior year at the Pacific Northwest College of Art in Portland, Oregon. Although my major is sculpture I enjoy experimenting in various other mediums. Other favorites are: photography, performance, video.

I was a Hindu monk for about nine years; between the ages of 17 and 26. I lived in monasteries throughout the US. Lived in Germany for a year and Northern Ireland for 3 years. I had the oppurtunity of visiting India several times.

Back in my native Oregon I'm now a practicing Zen Buddhist.

Lately I've taken up collecting postcards. I enjoy when they are written on, but am disappointed by, "here's your card for such and such swap."

Share a little of yourself with me. Why did you choose this card? Why did you send me this one? What did you do today? Etc. That's part of the appeal for me.

Really like: - art postcards - unusual/confusing postcards - nature - vintage postcards

Not so much: - Touristy postcards (particularly ones with collage of various places all in one card)

Six Feet Under (my favorite tv show ever), Weeds, Dexter, True Blood, The Office, and history documentaries of all sorts
