I am a newbie seamstress, novice embroiderer, and sometime cross sticher, and I LOVE fabric! I also enjoy scrapbooking and making jewelry. I collect postcards and am getting started making ATCs. I'm a wanna-be-geek married to a super-geek. We like to cycle, hike, and kayak in the beautiful state of Arkansas. I am a church secretary and am in school to earn a degree in Computer Information Systems. I dabble in web design as a hobby.

Loving bright colors right now, teal, pink, orange, green, baby blue, yellow. Nature, especially trees, is a theme currently. Drawings and paintings of people, trees, birds, and buildings. I have an owl collection with a couple of other birds sprinkled in. Funky and cutesy owls, not realistic-looking ones.

I adore sweets and baked goods of all kinds especially chocolate and chewy things. No allergies, but I can't stand nuts or coconut!

Love love love hobnail milk glass, and have a postcard collection that I would like to add to, especially internationally. I seem to be starting a collection of vintage black-and-white postcards. My favorite flowers are poppies, hydrangeas, cherry blossoms, and anemones.

Retro-modern fabrics are my favorites, not so much Amy Butler, more Joel Dewberry, Alexander Henry, and Anna Maria Horner, and the fabulous Valori Wells fabrics. Modern florals, stripes, polka dots, cute animals.

I am partial to Danish teak furniture and furnishings and decor from the 60s and 70s. I also dig muscle cars from the late 60s and early 70s: Chevelles, Novas, Impalas, Road Runners, Super Bees, El Caminos, 'Cudas, also Jeep Wagoneers and old station wagons and trucks.
