• Do you celebrate any seasonal holidays? I celebrate Christmas, and love all things holiday!

Would you mind if your swap gift was holiday themed? Love it.

• Are you in school? If yes, what are you going to school for? Yes - I'm currently working on my Master's In Teaching for Secondary Education. I'm going to be endorsed in Theater and English Language Arts.

• What TV shows do you watch? Grey's Anatomy, 30 Rock, Modern Family,

• Any allergies to food (or otherwise)? Nope, unless you're sending me pencillin :)

• What seasonal "flavors" (i.e. peppermint, chocolate) do you like / dislike ? I dislike white chocolate, but dark chocolate is wonderful :)

• Scents you love / scents you dislike? I like nice-smelling things. Can't think of any off the top of my head though!

• Favorite candy? I love dark chocolate! I like interesting / weird flavors and pairings of chocolate too.

• Favorite food? I love Mexican food, everything Trader Joe's, etc. I'm teaching myself to cook, and I'm really into the ~local organic healthy vegetable-based~ stuff right now, so recipes are helpful!

• Favorite color(s)? Blue and green.

• Favorite color(s) to wear? I like patterns.

• Do you paint your nails? I do! I don't have very many nail polish colors, so I'd like to expand my ~winter~ look.

• Are your ears pierced? Do you wear jewelry? My ears are pierced and I don't have much jewelry, but I'm getting into it more.

Does cheap jewelry turn your skin green / do you care? I don't think it does / I don't care.

• What are 3 things you have 0 use for? Another wallet or bag, tons of candy (I'm trying to eat healthier, though I like the occasional treat), and anything for babies.

• If you had $10 to spend, what would you buy? A new notebook and pens, glittery eyeshadow, soft yarn for crocheting, delicious tea

• What is something you can't get locally that you would like to buy? The mexican food in Washington isn't great - but I'm not sure how you could send that to me....

• How would you describe your "style"? I wear a lot of jeans with black shirts accessorized by colorful scarves or hats. I would probably be described as a hipster, because I like tea kettles, notebooks with birds on them, kitschy art and literature, ha.

• What size pants or shirts do you normally wear? Size 16 pants, size L shirts

• Favorite animal(s)? I think frogs are funny and collect figurines of them.

• Favorite band / musician / artist? The Decemberists are my favorite band of all time! I also like Ingrid Michaelson, the Lumineers, the Civil Wars, Bon Iver - anything with a strong acoustic influence, great harmonies and a folksy overtone.

• Favorite movie? Titanic! (Though I already own it). I really like animated films like Finding Nemo and such, though.

• Favorite book genres? Favorite authors? I'm reading a lot of Young Adult fiction right now for my classes, and I'd love to build up my collection of YA novels, so those are always welcome. I also like nonfiction: feminist-theory popular novels (the kind that get on book lists, not necessarily super dense theory books), books on education/learning or creativity.

• Do you read magazines? Which are your favorite? I do! I have a subscription to Cooking Light and I'd love a subscription to Time.

• What shades of make-up do you prefer (cool tones, warm tones)? Warm tones.

• What is your ideal Friday night? Sunday afternoon? Ideal Friday night would be going out to dinner and then to concert/art event of some kind, then going out for drinks afterwards.

Sunday afternoon would be going for a walk/run earlier in the day, come back and hang out outside somewhere reading and eating!

• Do you smoke cigarettes? What kind? Nope!

• Do you drink alcohol? What kind? I do! I drink a lot of local beer, but I also like interesting/different spirits.

• Do you like decorating? What sorts of things do you have in your room? Favorite tchotckes? I love decorating! In my room, I have some artwork (the melty crayon canvas thing I made and a painting from my girlfriend). I also have some posters from concerts I've been to. I have a couple of weird maps and painting things that I found at Goodwill too.

• If you work, what do you do for work? Right now I'm teaching an after-school drama enrichment class for kids!

• What is something you always like to have more of? Notebooks, yarn, pens, music, artwork
