Greetings All!

I enjoy making and trading ATC's. I've been dabbling in junk journals lately and sewing doll clothes.

Illustrations and photographs from the past are a favorite of mine. Old advertisements, book covers, greeting cards, postcards, sheet music covers, antique photographs, old labels...you get the idea! :-)

I love old and new ephemera. Dresden foils and trims. Paper flowers and paper butterflies too. Old pieces of lace, and various types of ribbon I enjoy using fabric bits and old buttons too.

I have also collected antique purses, gloves, hat boxes, compacts, vanity trays, perfume bottles, teacups, tea pots, old plates. I don't have a huge number of these items, just enough to satisfy my collector's desires.

I really enjoy all kinds of music.

I've been married for 43 years to my college sweetheart. It was love at first sight! We have 3 children, one handsome son, and two beautiful daughters. We have 8 grandchildren. Being a Grandma is my favorite thing in the world :)

Your gold embellishments and the rhinestones add to the elegance of this beauty. It really needs to be in a frame!! Comment: lHi Connie! Received 3 wonderful mushroom clusters from you in today's mail. Thank you for sending 3 different sizes - will be much easier to use as I have some variety. Love all 3 of these but must admit the pink one is my favorite. It's amazing how mushrooms go with everything - right?? Wonderful balance and composition and mi of elements for each of these. Let's do more clusters in the group - fun and different. Hope wonderful fall weather has arrived in Ohio! Hugs!

Comment: Oh Connie, you took the polka dot theme and ran with it. I love the colors, the background and the lovely gal with the sparkly bouquet. Everything about it says polka dots in an understatement letting the composition draw the viewer in. Great work, I love it. Thank you also for the awesome extras, I will put them to great use. Comment: Connie: This may just be my all time favorite swap of your's. I can't quit looking at it! The woman's image is stunning and really catches the eye immediately. The sunflower is perfect as are all the other little elements that you have added. Love the touch of machine stitching and the little green striped tea cup. Just perfect in every respect.
