I am a 39 (40 on August 3!)year old stay at home mom from central Pennsylvania USA. I live out in the country, which took some adjustment after living in town for a long time, but I have come to love it. My sons are Dakota-20, Isaac-13 and Riley-11 and my daughter Lily is 9 I am also the mother of an angel baby, Skyler, who would have been 15 this summer. I have been diagnosed with clinical depression and struggle with it on a daily basis, but my passion is writing and writing helps a lot. My passion for writing led me to penpal and snail mail swapping groups, which is how I ended up hearing about swapbot. Im trying to tap more into my creative side (I know its in there somewhere!) and I think swapbot will be perfect for that. I just started and Im already having fun with it! I have been with my boyfriend Jason for just over 16 years, he works in the woods cutting trees. My favorite colors are purple and yellow, favorite foods are mashed potatoes and tacos, favorite drink is iced sweet tea (although I drink a lot of soda too). Also, I hate hot coffee but love iced cappuccino! I listen to a variety of music, can tolerate most anything other than heavy metal-my most chosen though, is dance, hip hop, club music, anything with a fast paced catchy beat. With that being said though, Garth Brooks is my idol! I dont have time for a lot of TV but I like reality shows, chick flicks, drams. Favorite actor is Denzel Washington and favorite actress is Sandra bullock. I love animals, have lots of pets (7 dogs, 9 cats, 3 guinea pigs, 2 rabbits, one lone chicken, and a snake but the snake is my sons, lol!) and plan on getting more! I love pigs and Im dying to get a micro one. I would also love a pygmy goat and another dog or two. Living in the country has its perks! I also like rainbows, butterflies, scrapbooking, journaling, crafting with my kids, collecting scrapbook and craft materials (cuz you can never have enough!), gel pens of all kinds,Sharpie markers (Im obsessed), The Wizard of Oz, The Steelers, the eagles, and the Penn state Nittany lions. Go home teams! I dont care for hockey but do root for the penguins. Im not athletic, not particularly outdoorsy. I like spending time outside but Im more of a homebody. Im NOT a morning person, I hate to cook, and Im so terrible with direction that I wont even drive in unfamiliar areas. I hate water, have an intense fear of drowning. I rarely swim no matter how hot it gets. I wade, thats about it. Im a night owl, Im habitually late for things, I lose my car keys at least once a day,I can be a pessimist, and I can be forgetful. But I have a tendency to always look for the good in someone, which is what I like best about myself. I get taken advantage of, lied to, stolen from, cheated...but I still refuse to believe that most people are bad and that it will happen everytime. I trust easily, believe easily. Im currently swapping letters, snacks, stickers, and lots of other things with about 25 people and I can't wait to see what shows up in my own mailbox. That includes swapbot swaps as well...Im so excited to be here!
