I am a creative 44 yr old mom to an intelligent, creative and inquisitive 11 yr old boy. I am married to a wonderful man. I enjoy travelling and taking pictues. I also love crafts and gardening.

I love scrapbooking, atcs, beading (no plastic beads), and I am just learning wire wrapping techniques.

I would love to see postcards that show where you live. Postcards showing places of interest around you, sunsets, beaches, water, cityscapes and landscapes. I love doors and flower boxes. I would also appreciate handmade postcards ~ prefer creative and artsy! I have several favorite artists and I enjoy postcards depicting a specific work of art (if you send a art card and chose it for a specific reason, please tell me why you chose it.)

These are the things I can think of at this moment that I like. I like many other things and often appreciate things that are new to me.

I love glass beads and particulary love handmade lampworked beads. For a short time serveral years ago, I made glass beads.

I love to travel so items specifically associated with places other than where I live Northern California.

I love PARIS.

dogs, cats, flowers, trees, birds, butterflies, dragonflies, bumblebees and ladybugs (not cutsie bumblebees and ladybugs).

I usually do not like Disney items, TV related, Cartoon related, or Barbie or toy related items. I also would not care for any keychains.

I love books and I love to read. I read a broad mix of books. I have read quite a bit crime and historical fiction. I love my arts and crafts books. If I look at my book shelves, I see, child rearing, African American authors, travel, language, gardening, do-it-yourself home repair, cookbooks and poetry. I read many books based on Amazon reviews. I belong to Paperbackswap and send and receive books weekly.

I don't usually read science fiction or romance novels.

I read the Smithsonian, National Geographic, Cooking Light and various gardening and crafting mags.

Although I have told you many of my likes, generally I am not a picky person and I enjoy/appreciate most swaps I receive.
