This is all rather new and unnerving to me but very exciting at the same time.I am a busy mum to 3 wonderful if not a little tiring children the youngest I home school and the other two have recently gone back to school. I'm a wife to a slightly hopeless, yet very adorable husband. I love cooking for my family but even more so I love to bake.

I have set myself a few challenges this year as I turn forty at the end of the year and one of the challenges is to take part in as many swaps as possible. I thought joining swap-bot would be the ideal way of doing this. I'm also co hosting a Mothering Day swap with a friend of mine.

It is also thanks to my ever growing fabric, wool and cardmaking stash that I have joined swap-bot as I really need to use some of it before hubby will let me buy more and rather than just staring and drawling at it and waiting for that perfect project to use it.

A big challenge for me this year is to make our house a warm and cosy home. We have lived here for 12 years but haven't really had the chance to give it the tender love and care it needs to make it a home. So hopefully I will be able to change that this year. I have fallen i love with pretty country cottage, romantic cottage style so as the house needs a total revamp this is the look I will be trying to achieve.

I'm saving my pennies so that one day we could move to our dream home, not sure what that is yet either possibly a snug country cottage, an old farm house or may be a cottage near the sea.

I love to read Jane Austen and anything written about past years. Period drama's. Not to forget all my crafting books.

I love romantic comedy, feel good films and of course period drama's. I also watch the odd action movie, just to keep hubby company.

I love to sew, cross stitch, knit although not all that well yet, my friend is trying (very hard ) to teach me to crochet and I also love paper crafting. Photography I love taking photo's of anything and everything.

I'm not really into vintage stuff. I dislike horror. Dark chocolate Coffee or anything coffee related even the smell, I dislike strong perfumes/ fragrances and I don't do smelly candles, I don't like cats.I hate alter art. I don't like CK.

I love pastel colours, pinks, creams, blues. cosy and warm, handmade bags, paper and pens, Cupcakes edible or other wise, Tea I drink lots of tea, I love spring, cute and cuddly, I love the country cottage, romantic cottage look. I'm a girly girl. Tilda.
