About Me
I thought the greatest joy in life was when I married my frog prince --- little did I know that within 4 years of wedded bliss, we would've added a shih-tzu and a little baby boy to our brood. And now here we are living cozily by the dyke... enjoying walks in the park, dinners on the floor (yes, you read that correctly) with a barking little dog and a smiley and squeely little tyke. The little pleasures in life are what truly makes me happy --- sounds of happy laughter, a great movie, a good book, a lovely little ballad --- I love the cheesy smell between my little man's toes, his gurgling little laughs and his wide grins --- best of all, I love his saliva-filled hands reaching out for me as he repeatedly says "mommy"
i enjoy trashy romance novels, korean dramas (though i am not korean!), tagalog movies, cappuccino ice cream bubble tea in the hot summer days and a grande decaf non-fat easy on the caramel machiatto in the cold. though i love the summer sun, you will find me in the shade snoozing as i am not a fan of heat. the pitter-patter of rain (or snow for that matter) is my best friend. i truly do enjoy the cooler air and the mute colours of fall and the vividness of white in the winter season.
i'd love to be more crafty and artistic --- i find my inspirations ranging from the vintage to the utmost contemporaries. i'd love to have more TIME in my hands to be able to do so much more! i'm sure y'all feel that way.

I Just Heart

lime green is one of my favourite colours --- especially matched with pink.
i have a penchant for charms and charm bracelets.
scrap paper has a special box set aside in my closet.
pages in books with beautiful writing, letters, postcards, notepapers and pretty envelopes.
Wishful Thinking
I wish I was more crafty --- the type who can sew boys clothes, knit cute little toque's, organize scrap books like it was nothing...
I think the best I can do is look at inspirations and try to put a little of me into what I am copying.
If anything, I am so much more better with ideas... I spend too much time thinking about what I'm going to do that come execution day, I am too much of a perfectionist that I spend double the time than was necessary.
Oh.... how I wish.

I LOVE how you love your baby boy. I'm not quite there yet, but in my heart of hearts I hope to love them the way you described above. Thank you for making me smile just before bedtime - I'll be dreaming of my future tykes as well. And If I had a choice, I'll want a boy first. Not a request, just a secret wish :>
I'll one up you on scrap paper - I have a cupboard and a trunk - hahaha - and it gets put to good use. I tend to hoarde so much and I can totally relate to the perfectionist thing. So I just sit down with a timer and wing it sometimes. Not always the best results (those cards are reserved for soft hearts, like hubby's ;> ) but usually it does leave a dent in the stash.
Lime green and pink - so loving it. When you said that a vintage inspired dress popped into my head with pink and green tule. And boots. Why not, we're already breaking rules.
And ditto on the little things. Like the puddle on on our balcony after yesterday's rain that caused the sunlight to dance in our living room all day.

Hello, I have you for the profile swap. It seems that we are kindered souls in the crafting department. I have tons of ideas of what I want to do and then I sit down with the materials and give a sigh because I can't remember any of them...lol... But I do give it my best shot and I guess that is really what counts.

My favorite color is also lime green! I just love it. My wedding was done in lime green, that is how much I love that color.
I also love the rain, I am not crazy about cold weather though and were I live we get lots of cold weather and snow. The snow is pretty but I can do with out the cold LOL
