NEW UPDATE: Nov. 27 I have pm'd the swapper who gave me the recent 1 and didn't say why. Apparently, she was too busy to let me know she hadn't received it. But she wasn't too busy to pm me back! Also she doesn't want a resend when I offered cause it wasn't important to her! Well. it's important to me! I'm the one sitting on the side with the 1! Totally NOT in the spirit of Swap-Bot!

UPDATE:Nov 27. Just for the record the 1 I just received is very unfair. I never received word from her that she didn't receive the swap and then she gives me a 1. I have been trying so hard to clear up the other 1 rating after sending 4 packages and NOW THIS! TOTALLY UNFAIR!

UPDATE: Nov. 18. Another swapper PMed me to let me know that my Australian swapper has not been online since Sept. I checked and this is true. Also after she herself received a 1, she stated she would never be on Swap-Bot again. I'm now wondering how many of the 4 packages I've sent have been received! I've emailed Rachel to see if she can rectify this 1 of mine!

UPDATE:Oct. 27. I'm sending the 4th package for the swap to Australia tomorrow! PLEASE wish it luck!

UPDATE:Oct.13. Still haven't received word that Australia package arrived. I'm going to study Australian Postal Restrictions in detail and try again! Some of you already know that I was in the hospital AGAIN last week for another heart procedure! This is getting old real fast!

UPDATE: I just want everyone to know that the 1 I have in my ratings I am trying very hard to rectify! This is a swap going to Australia and I sent a 3rd package out last week! The 2nd resend! Thanks for reading my profile!

UPDATED!! Wednesday Sept. 15th. I am home from the hospital now. I had 2 heart catherizations in the last 6 days and had 3 stents placed in my heart. I am fine. Thank you to everyone that showed concern!

MY INFO

My beloved husband, Ron, is on the Other Side for 3 1/2 years now and I miss him dearly. I'm 60 years old and have a 7 yr old daughter that I adopted when she was a newborn! I am so very lucky because my husband does communicate with me from the Other Side. I have many EVPs with his voice and laughter. I'm blessed. I am also diabetic but my daughter loves sweets, especially skittles.

GRACIE'S INFO

Besides Skittles, Gracie loves anything chocolate, anything that is sweet! She is totally unlike her mama! I gain weight just looking at a piece of candy, but she remains slender! And I really think she will stay that way! She has a pink bedroom decorated with fairies. She loves to write and draw. And guess what? She loves these swaps! She even helps me with some of them! She will be going to Sports Spirit Day Camp for a week this summer; a week at the Fish Hatchery; and a week at the Village Theatre working on scenes from "Annie"! She love cartoons especially SpongeBob and ScoobyDo She adores Hannah Montana, Any music that has a fast beat to it so she can dance!

Gracie is already trying to wear my makeup! Sometimes I catch her,sometimes I don't. I really don't mind the hypoallergenic kind made for kids!

Gracie simply adores Celtic Thunder! She doesn't have any of their CD's yet, but she'd love one!

I LOVE TO BAKE!

Cupcakes are my favorite thing in the world to create! So, I adore cookbooks about cupcakes!

I also love to bake homemade bread! Someday I'd love to own a bread machine, cause it's getting harder and harder for me to stand and knead!

I also love to accumulate the old regional cookbooks that civic groups and churches publish!

Gracie and I both like to feed the birds and squirrels from our balcony by the river! The Stellar jays just love those peanuts. I rather miss the Blue Jays in Ohio! The blue is a bright sky-blue color! And oh, do I miss the Cardinals! Washington just doesn't have any! We also feed the Anna hummingbirds and every now amd then, a goldfinch will visit!

I adore country music, but I also like classical, Celtic Thunder, Elvis. Really, just about everything except hard rock and bluegrass. Tim McGraw, Trace Adkins, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson's, "Amazing Grace", is one of my favorite songs. My husband, Ron, used to do backup for Willie and Hank Williams.

Ron used to train horses and I'm sure that's what he is doing right now! He was such an animal lover. I saw him cry once when a tiny rabbit died in his hands!

My beloved not only rescued animals but he resued people, too. I remember once when we raised rabbits. We were going to have some alone time in the hills, just he and I. But suddenly, as we passed a little farm where we had purchased bunnies before, he stopped the car and told me that I needed to go in. Upon entering I discovered one of the owners dressed in white and crying, holding a bottle of pills. Her husband had left her and she was about to end her own life! She is alive today because of my husband!

My favorite books? I like Romantic fiction, spiritual, gardening. My favorite nonfiction author is Sylvia Browne. In fact, you could save that she saved my life. I was really a lost soul until I started reading Sylvia's books!

If you never read another book in your life, please read thisSylvia's "Journal of The Soul" , 3-book series! It will change your life!

My favorite movies are the original South Pacific and Phantom of the Opera. I've seen them both many times and I cry and sob EVERY time! I just found out that THERE IS GOING TO BE A SEQUEL TO Phantom of the Opera! Wow! Be still my heart!

I love decorating my home in shabby chic, Country Victorian. My favorite colors at the moment are shades of green and pink! But I never met a color that I didn't like!

I adore thrift stores, flea markets. My 7 yr old daughter loves to find things at dumpsters! She's lugged many wooden chairs back to our apartment! She knows I love them! When I had my house before our move to Washington state, I had numerous old chairs in my garden holding flowering plants! I love to find free treasures and incorporate them into my home! My home is my sanctuary! I love to crochet afghans and only afghans! I never could get into anything else! and I really don't like the thin baby crochet yarn.
