I love spending time with friends and family, road trips, making breakfast for dinner, sewing and embroidering, and eating copious amounts of Indian food. My husband, Tom, & I enjoy nights of playing board games together. My favorite board game is Apples to Apples. We have fun lounging with our five cats (Hyacinth, Wally, Hazel, Chaz, and Evinrude) and one dog - a Lab/Corgi mix named Basher. We have two daughters - Maiya (4/09) and Jenevieve (2/11).

I am a full-time student in my BS of Maternal Child Health. I am sitting for my IBCLC (Lactation Consultant) certification in 2013, and in the meantime I pay the bills by teaching Lamaze childbirth education and working as a birth doula. My career passion is making sure women know their options in birth and breastfeeding!

My big vice is drinking Dr Pepper. I am a huge believer in doing the right thing just because it is the right thing. It is my goal to live simply and without clutter. I love my tiny rasied-bed garden. I want chickens in my backyard. I
