Hello! My name is Agata (she/her) and I'm 25 years old. I live in Warsaw and work as a language tutor. In my free time I like to take long walks and listen to music or podcasts, read, laze around and, of course, craft. My main hobby is bookbinding. I create my own notebooks and share them with my family and friends. Last December (2020) I discovered penpalling and since then I've been pouring my love for paper into letters :)
Things I'd love to receive: washi tapes, stickers (washi stickers and others), die cuts, pretty papers, writing paper, postcards, label, vintage papers and other paper things that I could use. I could also use wax seals and buttons!
I like simple prints, flowers, geometrical patterns, botanical, nature. I like different stickers and I think it's easier to define what I don't use, so make sure you read the next section :)
I drink herbal and fruit tea and I would be happy to receive it!
I really enjoy penpalling and writing letters, so even if it's just a swap I would like to learn something about you :) Describe your day, tell me something about your job or your hobbies. You can also send me something connected to your culture or your town/city, your favorite quotes, recipes, etc.
Things I don't want to receive: stickers and writing paper for kids (or with cartoon prints), kawaii prints, Hello Kitty, kpop, halloween related goodies (spiders, zombies, etc.), glitter, sequins, emojis, neon, shiny or very colorful things. Of course feel free to use them in your project :) I just know that I have no use for them, so please don't send them as goodies.
One of my favorite bands is Arctic Monkeys. Starting with Humbug back in high school, I quickly became obsessed with all of the other albums. Now my favorite one is TBHC. I’m also a huge fan of The Last Shadow Puppets and I actually saw them live for the first time before Arctic Monkeys. Other bands and artists that I like: Alexandra Savior, Tame Impala, Metronomy, The Strokes, Led Zeppelin, Jack White and more.
It's really hard to describe what I read and what I like. There's no particular genre that I could call my favorite. One of my top books is “The Bell Jar” by Sylvia Plath. I read both fiction and nonfiction, the latter mostly written by Polish authors.
Some of my favorite shows: The Office, Parks and Rec, B99, Normal Poeple (came here after the book) and many more.
