I'm an elementary school special education teacher living in Texas with my husband and cat. I'm a Christ-follower. I love to serve God, and show His love to others. I enjoy serving people, hence my profession and most of my activities that I do.

I've recently started enjoying creative hand-lettering, decorating envelopes with pretty writing, washi and old, unused postage. I love sending and getting mail, so I’m excited to have found Swap-Bot! I even rented a PO Box which is like a little adventure to check!

My current joys are trying to keep some sort of mood journal, vision boards-for lack of a better term, working in my planner, and starting a prayer journal. I also love home décor, travel and reading (cozy mysteries, legal thrillers, etc.). I also love purchasing mystery items online because surprises are so fun!

We’ve also recently reorganized our entire home. Every cabinet, closet and room has been touched inside the house. Now we’re moving on to work in the garage and attic. This has given me a new appreciation for labeling and my Cricut Joy. We have tubs labeled “Tech Relics” (VCR/DVD), “Hot & Steamy” (my iron and clothes steamer) and Box O’ Cables (self-explanatory). I think daily life should be comical and entertaining! I think small things should feel luxurious and special!

I’m also into creative gift wrapping! Part of the reorganization has included a gift wrap cart which puts a big smile on my face when I see it. I love double-sided tape, gift wrapping tape and finishing seams off with coordinating washi tape.

I love hosting people in my home and creating interactive activities for guests, like a flavored lemonade bar, make your own Ranch Water (my favorite alcoholic drink), build-a-crepe, etc. I also enjoy creating food boards and grazing tables. I hate it when people misuse the word charcuterie.
