Hi! I'm twenty years old, working at an ice cream shop, and basically trying to figure out what I want from my life. XD Cliché, I know.

So, I'm not very crafty (sorry!), I like painting...yeah, that's about it. But this sounds fun! And I've done other swaps over at bpal.org, so I'm not completely new!

I love mushrooms! Omg, I love mushrooms like you wouldn't believe! Also: hedgehogs, masks, dark colors, silver, roses, lip balms, bpal perfume oils, orange flowers, lollipops, coconut, fantasy, some sci-fi, cooking!, baking, faeries, orange stones, urban fantasy!, rainbow stuff, weird candy/drinks, stripes!!, poetry, apples, TEA! (loose or bagged), chai, notebooks, BATMAN, comics!, stand-up comedy!!

Neon colors, pink, spicy food, rooibos, licorice tea, mean people, typically 'kawaii' or 'cute' stuff, drama, cleaning :P

I'm really into Gaiman right now (I know, who isn't?) but I've been interested in the urban fantasy genre for as long as I can remember. I enjoy epic fantasy, too, and will always have a soft spot for Feist who introduced me to it. I have a hard time getting into sci-fi in book form, but would love some recs!

Star Trek: The Original Series novelizations are my current crack; I can't get enough! So if you happen by a thrift store and see one or two of these bad boys...

I also love poetry! Brendan Kennelly is my favorite poet, even though it's freaking impossible to get any of his books here in the states. Some other favorites are Billy Collins, William Blake, Howard Nemerov, Allen Ginsberg, and Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.

I can get into most genres (popular country and trance are apparently the exceptions) but am especially interested in Celtic punk rock and earlier Celtic folk. I love the Pogues and the Dubliners especially, and a more modern example would be Flogging Molly (as a sidenote: I usually dislike the Dropkick Murphys :P).

I generally enjoy bouncy stuff, songs with actual meaning, songs that make me laugh, and ‘sexy’ or otherwise intense songs
