Let's see - I love art! I am now retired (used to be a Technical Writer for a software development team) and now I have time to have fun. I have the whole day to myself and I love it! I can go to stores in the morning and in the middle of the week and they are not crowded.

I love listening to Loreena McKennitt and James Taylor. I also like classic rock - the 60s specifically. I loved the era and I loved the music - many fond memories (I think). Anyhow - good feelings, good music, good memories. I like Native American music also. I don't like opera or show tunes - well, maybe West Side Story - I consider that a story and not a musical (and when I was young, I always had to be one of the Puerto Ricans when we played because I had a Spanish last name).

Okay, I've read the whole Dune series about four times - yes, including the prequels. I also love the Valdemar series by Mercedes Lackey and the Dragon Prince series by Melanie Rawn. I inhale George RR Martin, Terry Goodkind, Dean Koontz, Barbara Kingsolver, Alice Walker, Andrea Dworkin, Sara Douglass, Jennifer Roberson, Barry Lopez and John McPhee. I also read the New York Times, MS, Somerset Studio, Art Doll and cereal boxes.

I love to watch Aliens, Terminator, I Robot, Day After Tomorrow, Lord of the Rings (extended versions- usually all of them in one day), Aliens vs Predator, Batman Begins, The Machinist, Legends of a Fall, 12 Monkeys, Fight Club, the Matrix series (not so much the last one), The West Wing - I'm up to the fourth season, 24 series with Keifer Sutherland, The Shield series (I'm only up to Season 1).

Stargate SG1, Stargate Atlantis, Lost, Medium, Firefly (when it was on), Law and Order Criminal Intent, Law and Order, Journeyman (I miss it!!), Jericho and Craig Ferguson Late Night. I just started watching The Closer and Saving Grace.

I love to work with paper - any type of paper - handmade samples are my favorite. I love the feel of papyrus, paper towels and clay-finish magazines. I love the shine of metallic paper - I sigh over rice paper. I've ordered paper from Tibet. I have small boxes full of small pieces that I use in ATCs. I cut out magazine pictures that I like. I draw moustaches, tatoos and scars on glamor models in fashion magazines. I cut out cardboard from soda packs and cereal boxes. I glue and glitter anywhere and everywhere. I used to take my crafts to work, so I could work on them in the cafeteria. I love to bead - making necklaces just for fun. I have three huge hard-sided boxes of necklaces. I buy beads like there is going to be a bead shortage tomorrow. I wish I had more clasps. I love to weave although I haven't warped the loom in a long time - I admit that it kinda intimidates me. I was weaving offloom and loved it. The loom is a different animal. I'll get to it. I like to paint - acrylics mostly. Oh, I love photography - I just upgraded my camera - wahhoo. I love nature shots and sunsets and closeups on flowers and cactus. I just started learning to work with polymer clay.
