I'm a 20-something college student getting ready to graduate into the "real" world of English Education. My biggest love affair is with READING, but I also enjoy cooking, music, and things that keep my short attention span! I am incredibly sarcastic and am attracted to people with a unique sense of humor. I love to laugh!!! I enjoy exploring new ideas and writing poems/prose when the mood strikes me. Thunderstorms calm me as does any thing that makes white noise such as rain or a running fan. I am an extreme foodie; I love experiencing new tastes, finding perfections of old ones and will try anything once. Books are my biggest obsession; I take one with me everywhere I go and read every chance I get. I love fantasy, especially the fantasy where the characters start in the real world or "reality" and end up somewhere or learn something completely unexpected filled with magic such as Harry Potter, The Chronicles of Narnia, The Wizard of Oz, etc...when I'm not reading fantasy, I'm reading about alternative lifestyles and would kill to have been a part of the beat generation. Viva la Kerouac! I'm a big day-dreamer...

If I could be anyone in the world, I'd want to be a cross between Lorelai and Rory Gilmore. In some ways, I already am...

I am obsessed with quotes that help me say what I can't find the words to say and often collect them. I love technology and enjoy surfing the internet and am always looking for cool sites. While I don't openly admit it to the people around me, I love to shop and buy clothes. I love quirky but fashionable clothes for work (including jewelry, LOVE EARRINGS!) but with a touch of indie style to it. I also love screen-print tee shirts. I love video games and old school TV shows from Nickelodeon.

My all-time favorite colors are black (clothes) and blue (everything else!). I love fun designs and patterns (non-traditional, modern) and LOVE interesting kitchen gadgets. I love candles and frequently have a few burning around my house at any given time. I love beauty products from expensive eye shadow to chapstick. I love me some make-up! I do theatrical make-up on the side and enjoy make-up products that I can wear every day as well. I have a weird attraction to cool fonts. I have an anxiety disorder so anything to make me relax is great (yoga, relaxation music/cds, candles, bubble baths). I also enjoy smells that are unique...especially "clean" smells like fresh air, laundry, rain, etc. I love unique office supplies and am constantly losing pens which means I'm constantly buying more. A good pen is hard to find.

I am only allergic to common household and outdoor items such as mold, pollen, grass, weeds...I also am highly allergic to cats.

Foodstuffs: I love salty and semi-sweet...I LOVE BBQ Sauce (goes on everything), any sauces really, all kinds of nuts or jerky. I'm not a big candy fan but I enjoy fruit leathers, gum, semi-sweet chocolate, hot chocolate, yum! I also like interesting flavors, things that you don't normally see (I'll try anything once! That's part of the fun!)
