Book Soundtrack Swap

Overview << Many times when I'm reading a book, I watch it like a movie in my head, and naturally, assign songs to scenes. This is my invitation to you to share a book and its soundtrack with your partner. Take any book you read recently or an old favorite, make a mix CD of songs you think go with it perfectly, and send the CD and a copy of the book to your partner. (Bonus: it might be a neat idea when you list out the songs and who they're by to reference the scene in the book it corresponds to, or which character's theme it is.) And yes, you can do series of books.

Restrictions! << Please don't use any songs that have been used in a movie adaptation of the book. I toyed with the idea of leaving this out due to its obviosity, but decided it was better said than unsaid. (Songs that have appeared on other soundtracks having nothing to do with a film version of the book in question are totally fine.) Also, please use a (good condition) used copy of the book if at all possible. Recycle Rock'n'roll! (If not possible, it's OK too.)

Limitations :( << This is closed to anyone with a no-send in their history. If you have one and feel like you can guilt/charm me into making you an exception to the rule, message me with your best shot. 4.0+ Track Record, preferably. Newbies with really swift profile allowed. Yay! Also, it will be for US only - if this is well received, we'll do an international version later.

Cautions! << Remember that not everyone has the same taste in books, so expect to receive anything.
