I started crafting in March 2012 and I have never looked back. I work, have three young children and a husband and never found time for just me. Now I make sure to find time for me every week. I think I have unique crafts to share. My girls and husband comment to my work are “that's cute” or "your coloring is great". But I know there are others out there that will see more in my work. So I came to Swap-bot to show off my work and to see, others like me, who love to share their beautiful inspirations.

I like 80's music and really anything you sing along too. I also enjoy mood music (like Enya) when I'm working or when I'm in the zone crafting and drawing.

I also LOVE audio books. This lets me get my monthly dose of enlightenment.

I do have small children and I end up listening to kid's folk music too and these songs too are fun to sing with.

Anything fantasy or period stories (faries, made up lands, 18th century Europe, epic changes in culture)

I do not get to see movies much (small kids and all) but I do have classic favorites like 'A Christmas Story', 'Breakfast Club', 'Star Wars', 'The Princess Bride'

Again, I do not get to watch much TV; however, the one TV show I do Tivo is 'Big Bang Theory' and re-runs of 'King of the Hill' (I'm from Texas and I just love the parody of Texas suburbia)

The super most fun thing for me is to do Zentangles. I will make cards, ATCs, mandalas, Art Journaling (whole book just tangles). See my flickr pictures of my work by going to link at the top of this page.

I make greeting cards for friends and family. I just did my first handmade Christmas cards for 30 people this year with Zentangles and the family photo. Hope everyone will enjoy my art as much as I liked making it. :)

I would say I like working with paper and inks. I really like fine pens, soft paper, watercolors (bold colors); spray inks, copic markers, washi tape, watercolor pencils.

I haven't done scrapbooking just because I like projects I can do in one sitting or two, see a finished product and then be able to put it up quick. Sometimes the time to myself is only 45 min (kids pulling on my arm to help with something) so I can't have a lot of product around or someone may pull it of the desk or better yet eat it :)

I would like to see your art. That could be drawings, painting, Zentangle, etc. I want to see what makes you happy.
