Hi! Yes, I have been to earthquake park a lot. Did they have the Coastal Trail built when you were here? You can walk all the way from downtown to Earthquake Park, on a wide paved one lane road. Even though it has been over 50 years, the landscape is still just as tortured and you can still see broken buildings at Portage. I have a bunch of books about it. They even built an IMAX where you can feel the seats move with the power of the earthquake, while they show you pics of it. You have to set everything down, on the floor, so you don't hurt yourself, while the trembler is going on. Even though I was sitting in a comfortable chair, it is still quite the experience.
