Hey everyone! My name's Sarah, I'm 21, and I've been interested in swapping for a while, but have yet to do it (at the time of writing this, anyway). I'm entering my senior year at college and am studying to become an elementary school teacher. Other than teaching, I absolutely adore wedding planning! I am engaged to a man I have been with since I was only 14, and since our engagement I have discovered my love of planning. I am also hugely passionate about charity. I am a blood donor, have volunteered at multiple soup kitchens, and enjoy giving back in any way possible. I really tend to focus my efforts on cancer research. I walk with Team Jack's Mannequin at the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Light the Night Walk every year and have enjoyed collecting over 200 birthday cards for a young boy with leukemia when I was in high school. Among my friends, I am definitely known as the philanthropist.

I don't know what I'd do without music, it's shaped my life. As a 12-year-old girl, I became obsessed with the boy band Dream Street. I went on fan websites and ended up meeting some of my best friends on them (one friend introduced me to my fiance!).

Right now, everyone knows my favorite bands are Something Corporate and Jack's Mannequin. When Andrew McMahon (the singer of both bands) was diagnosed with leukemia when I was 16, I really discovered my passion for giving back and helping others who are sick. I've seen Andrew perform a total of 9 times so far and am seeing Something Corporate again this August!

Besides JM and SoCo, I frequently listen to Jesse McCartney, Jason Mraz, April Smith and the Great Picture Show, and Ingrid Michaelson.

I'm also a poetry fanatic :). My favorites are Annabel Lee by Edgar Allan Poe, Jabberwocky by Lewis Carroll, and Daddy, Love is a Parallax, and Mad Girl's Love Song by Sylvia Plath (okay, anything by Sylvia Plath).

I really like independent films and controversial ones. Anything that really gets me thinking, such as Hard Candy, Lolita, Spielzeugland, My Summer of Love, Donnie Darko, The Green Mile, Stranger than Fiction, Pan's Labyrinth, Lars and the Real Girl, An American Crime, Charlie Bartlett, Adam, and Au Revoir, Les Enfants.

Besides these I also love The Holiday, Shattered Hearts, Finding Nemo, The Notebook, A Walk to Remember, and Juno.

I LOVE Boy Meets World. I'm also a big fan of the wedding shows on WE, particularly My Fair Wedding with David Tutera (I idolize him!), game shows, reality shows, and American Idol.

Anything and everything! I usually make cards, but I love art and constantly day dream about the crafts I want to make. I'm really interested in meltables (particularly pony beads), resin casting, metal working, fimo clay, etc. Honestly, if it exists in the crafting world, I'm willing to give it a shot! Right now my biggest restriction is money (although it's also living with my mother who isn't keen on the idea of me melting pony beads in her oven - haha!). I love my cricut, too!
