Junk Journals are my favorite with vintage bits of lace, trim, fabric, paper, ephemera,etc. Love altered art with vintage millinery, old jewelry, and unusual findings. I love working with paper, fabric and ephemera. And I think I'm going to learn to crochet so I can add pretty edging to things.

I was once told by a "fortune teller" that I'm an old soul and she must be right because I love LOVE love everything old...photos, jewelry, books, postcards...I think you get the point! I'm also very into genealogy and my family's history.

I have three wonderful children ages 22, 21 and 13 and a very funny husband. We also have two very large rescue dogs that we've had for about 2 years.

I'm always working on a memory book or altered journal not only because I love doing it but also so that my children know where they came from and our family's history. I hope they'll pass them down to their children and grandchildren. I'm one of those people who has to craft or I'll go out of my mind so I'm constantly working on something for myself, a family member or for my Etsy store. I also LOVE flea markets, antique shows, thrift stores and garage sales, it's always exciting when you stumble upon a hidden treasure!

I like just about any color...the more muted/worn/faded the better (muted pinks, blues, greens, yellows). The only colors that I could live without are purple and orange (unless it's a Halloween)

You don't need to go out and buy anything for me...I would love to receive pretty, unique, interesting, artfully designed paper items from everyday life...movie stubs, bus tickets, train tickets, subway tickets, candy wrappers, (clean) food wrappers, soap wrappers, pretty illustrated business cards or postcards, newspaper clippings, unique travel brochures/ads, any paper item from a foreign country, book pages, clothing tags/pretty price tags, any interesting advertising papers, old envelopes, glassine envelopes, small paper bags, magazine clippings, tags, labels, library due date cards, postcard size ads/notices for art shows, flea markets, craft shows, etc. I love seeing what others lives are like through paper ephemera.........Please don't just send flimsy flyers or uninteresting ads for something going on in your area, I'm only interested in good quality unique, artfully designed, pretty papers.
