Mail hit a snag here. My regular mail lady was on vacation and let me know that she found some mail where it shouldn't have been... So, if you're waiting on something from me give it an extra week. (July 1, 2023)

I am brand new to this site. So please forgive me if I don't understand everything.

I'm old, weird and strange. My sense of humor is dark. I love snarky stuff. I have a spouse and two grown sons. Quetzalcoatl is my bearded dragon, never thought I'd love a reptile! Lots of animals in my house, dogs, cats, turtle, guinea pigs too. Retired ICU/Burn nurse, veteran of the US Army- both enlisted and officer. I've been through a lot and seen a lot. The stories I tell make people shake their heads. I love all sci-fi and fantasy. I watched Star Trek since 1966 and I kissed THE Scotty with pictures to prove it. I am an atheist, so please nothing related to scripture or religious stuff, unless it's old vintage Catholic prayer card saints stuff. I know this short ... give me time to get adjusted here.

I was born in the late 1950s. I think the world has got to he'll in a hand basket because of boomers. There I said it. And I apologize to the youth for that. My fault, I was too busy partying to realize that all the peace, love and tolerance flew out the window.

I have been a paper crafter for easy 15 years, A wanna-be-ADHD Artist who can't draw for sh#t. I love ephemera, really different papers, foreign language pages from old magazines or books, if it's something you don't see everyday in the USA, I'd love to create with it. Stamperia and Graphics 45 are my favorites. I do rubber stamping. I bought my first made to order rubber stamp in 1982. It reads "Dead Cat Enclosed" and used it on my bills for many years.

I cuss a blue streak (army) and was a card carrying nudist for many years. So I'm fine with cussing and nudity in art.

I have a bearded dragon named Quetzalcoatl. My beautiful orange citrus coloured baby. My son said I needed something to fix the empty nest syndrome. Never, ever did I think I would love a reptile! I decorate her vivarium walls with traded lizard art work. She has a personality too. And shes a cuddle bug.

My house is full to overflowing. Both my boys moved back home. I'm much happier with them here. If I had my way I'd opt for a multi-generational home any day. Thank Godzilla I have a four bedroom home! So it's a full house, spouse, 2 sons, and animals!!!

We have Cooper, our 17 year old Wiemarinar, Zelda a 10 year old chihuahua mix, Olivia the turtle, Pogers, Gamecube, & Keyboard the guinea pigs, Jingles the cat and Quetzi my dragon. I love animals.

I like reading sci-fi. I love dystopian novels. Latest read (6-10-23) was The Parable of the Sower by Octavia Butler. NOT religious at all, but profoundly spiritual. She wrote it in the late 1990s and it takes place in California in 2024. It's scary real like The Handmade Tale.

I love green and blue colours, ATCs & any Artist Trading type things, Handmade things by you!, Mermaids, Horror, Snarky sayings, Limericks, Triptychs, Pysanky related items, Ukrainian, Polish, Vintage, Ephemera, old vintage Catholic type prayer cards, the Occult and anything to do with Dragons- bearded or not, love snake skin shed - I make jewellery with it, not usually into cutesy things but I play Pikmin Bloom. Have 2 adult fps gamer/magic the gathering/Yu-Gi-Oh/Pokemon sons- stuff they'd get a kick out of. I don't know what else to say!

When you address my postcard, envelope, package if you address it to: Cathy Hogue, Empress of the Universe I will not only laugh so hard I'll probably wet myself, but send another destash envie or postcard to you, immediately. This should be fun as my spouse always gets the mail!

Dislikes,well not dislikes, but more of a please do not send. Candy, food etc. I live in Florida. If it doesn't melt in the heat, it will bring cockroaches to my door. I do not like religious scriptures as I am an atheist, but I love old Catholic prayer cards.

Please let this be enough for right now..........
