I am a Scrapbooker that has just started Bible Art Journaling. I am looking for ways to help me with my bible studies. I found God just about 1 1/2 years ago, so I’m making up for lost time! I am a member of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). I like to have people tell me their favorite scripture and why.

I also have a new great-nephew! Karson. He is undoubtedly the most beautiful, smartest baby ever! I did a pregnancy album for my niece and now I am working on a mini album to do Karson’s first 12 months.

What else? I live in horse country — Central Kentucky, on a small farm. But I grew up a hillbilly from the coalfields of Eastern Kentucky.

Love dogs. Love my husband -we’ve been married 36 years. Love God. (Not in that order!) My favorite color is red. But, I bleed blue....I’m a graduate of the University of Kentucky, a place known for its rabid basketball fans! #GoCats #BigBlueNation #CATS #UKBasketball

My dogs are a big part of my life. I have had 4 Shih-Tzus that were my babies. My dogbabies. Molly, Gizmo, Baby Boy and Suzy. Two of them I purchased, two I adopted. 2018 was a tough year for me and my dogs. I lost Suzy one month shy of her 15 birthday and Baby Boy was almost 18 when he crossed the rainbow bridge. Now I have a long-haired chihuahua and a Labradoodle. Elvis Aaron is a 12 year old, long-hair chihuahua with beautiful black hair. That's how he got his name. Anyone that dislikes chihuahuas should meet Elvis. They would change their mind immediately -- he's that wonderful. Maybelle Damnit is my small 2-year old Labradoodle; or Labradoofus as I call her. Her name is from advice I got from a friend -- name them what you are going to call them. I may not get into heaven because of the number of times I say Maybelle, Damnit!!!! She was a rescue and I believe she was abused. I try to be very patient, but she is a mess! She does not like anyone but me. Even hides under the bed from my husband. I tried doggie daycare for when I am at work. She is a doggie daycare dropout. Started hiding from me when it was time to go and I didn't want to traumatize her any more than she had been. I've had her a little over a year and she is still a troubled dog. My vet is thinking that maybe she needs Prozac, but I am weighing the pros and cons on that.

A couple of years ago my husband and I bought a used convertible Camaro! I have vanity plates with my name on them. What fun! I’m the grey haired terror cruising these KY roads with the top down, music loud, and singing even louder. Rock, Country, Gospel. I like it all.

I love to travel and have been fortunate enough to have been a few places: Cruises in the Caribbean, trip to Hawaii, Niagara Falls, Las Vegas, but I am taking my “bucket list” trip this fall. Rome then a Mediterranean cruise!!! Did I mention that I am blessed?

I love orchids! I try to keep one blooming on my desk, always. Needless to say, I have plenty not on my desk because they are NOT blooming. When they are blooming they remind me to always be thankful for the Joy and blessings that are in my life.

The one word I would use to describe me would be Joyful! There is a modern gospel song “Old Church Choir” that I LOVE, because it describes me to a T.....and No one is going to steal my JOY!
