Hi! I’m a midwestern genxer with 2 kids (5 & 8), two tabby cat sisters and a handsome himbo shar pei/german shepherd mix. I like sending friendly little things :) And sharing supplies to spread variety! She/her pronouns. ND (neurodivergent) with adhd & ocpd At home with the kids by ourselves for the most part, while spouse finishes college & works. Special interests in mutual aid & working with found items. My little city no longer has its own post office, so it can take a week or so for things to arrive. My outgoing mail is usually dropped downtown to help expedite things 😉

I like upbeat songs with over the top vocals best; horns are a plus and overly repetitive beats are a minus. Motown, pop, rock, funk, nothing recent lol. Whitney Houston, Louis Prima, Boyz II Men are faves

Middle grade mystery/adventure, fantasy and cozy mystery are favored genres. If it’s a series about a misunderstood but bright 12 year old who goes off to live with an unknown elderly relative and realizes something strange is afoot - I am there!

Faves : the Beezus/Ramona Quimby series by Beverly Cleary, The Borrowers, Lockwood & Co series, the Shopaholic series, varied Rick Riordan series’. Series are the best… if it’s a nice world, why leave it?

Comedy, animation, musicals, PG-13 adventure stuff. Not into superheroes & blockbusters. Favorites include The Blues Brothers, Naked Gun 2 1/2: The Smell of Fear, Little Shop of Horrors, Hello Dolly!, Disney’s Sleeping Beauty, Bedknobs & Broomsticks, the Jumanji trilogy

Most recently: The Grinch (2018 animated), Elemental, Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (Gene Wilder)

Love streaming as background noise. Sitcoms, animation & mystery dramadies. I adore cartoons. Can’t watch medical drama, police/csi, ya know. The stuff with graphic violence or sex. Calm and funny, if you please :D

Never enough time! I love to do folksy kiddy pop art style mixed media on small canvas from recycled or found objects, like clunky ATCs (which I am getting into 😍) I make little gifts, cards & postcards per occasion and copy whatever home decor I don’t want to buy 😆 I like trying new products & techniques and don’t have a go-to anything yet. I have learned that I prefer some limitations in my crafting - anything is possible! Which overwhelms me. Having themes, color or size guidelines, etc is ideal for my projects.

I’m fifth generation in a line of professional bakers. Cookies & cake are a staple! I bake often for household snacking. Most recently, chocolate chip cookie bars. Again. Took me 40 years to realize why cc cookies weren’t hitting the spot - love the chewy bars 😋 Waiting on my sourdough starter to wake up! 133yrs old a neat Christmas gift

Scents - Sensitive to strong floral. Light is nice; linen, citrus, apple cinnamon, coconut, tropical etc

Colors - Faves green, blue, purple, brown, gray. Jewel tones, cool tones, bright colors, metals & glitter Not faves: shades of red, pastels

Flavors - Sweets, carbs lol I adore bread & rolls if you have a fave recipe to share. I’m currently off tea for heartburn reasons. Nothing spicy (pepper intolerance)

Things - Love wood/wood grain, cuttlefish, paisley, corduroy, pineapple, bee/honeycomb, or cactus themes, hexagon shapes, scroll patterns, those floral 1960-70s prints, kitsch, unique, quirky. Handmade always welcome.

Characters: Muppets Grover, Fozzie & Gonzo, Scooby Doo, Disney (not princesses & DW. Merlin & Ursula & Cheshire Cat & Chip and Dale…and all the horses bc Disney horses have major attitude)

I’m ok with swearing, erotica nudity, and confetti/glitter ;)
