I watch a lot of movies; my husband and I run a movie discussion group that meets twice a month. I like to read (fiction & non), love dogs and enjoy beading/ stringing. I'm also a vegetarian and an atheist.

Shows I watch regularly (or record): Dexter, Boardwalk Empire, The Mentalist, The Glades, Glee, Fringe, How I Met Your Mother, Drop Dead Diva, Mad Men, Castle, Game of Thrones.

Reality TV: Top Chef, So You Think You Can Dance, both the Canadian and U.S. versions, occasional I watch American Idol.

Shows that are no longer on the air that I used to watch faithfully: Big Love, The Gilmore Girls, United States of Tara, Carnivale, Six Feet Under, Penn & Teller: Bullshit!

For the Thrift store swap(s), I'm not too picky; I like earth-tones, but I also like pops of bright colour. I like dishes and bags and belts and small appliances and more... items that are solely decoration a little less so, but if you think it's an awesome find, then by all means send it to me. The only thing I really don't want to receive is clothing; I will occasionally buy clothing from a thrift store myself, but matching someone's taste and especially sizing is just too hard for a swap like this.

As I mentioned above, I am a vegetarian, so I'd prefer not to receive snacks/ recipes with meat ingredients. I'm not a vegan though so, milk, cheese, honey, eggs are ok. If you're not sure, please feel free to message me. I'm not very big on chocolate or sweets, but my other half is, so if you want to send them, go ahead... he'll be more likely to make/ eat those things than me, but that's perfectly fine. I prefer salty snacks: chips, nuts, etc.I also like spicy food. We cook a lot of different types of cuisine, so I'm pretty much open to anything that way.
