Hello! I'm Kate. A bit about me... well, I love animals - I have 2 cats, a dog and a rabbit, but I love all animals. I'm a vegetarian. I love books - they're my favourite things :) I also love music, especially punk and horror punk, rock, metal, country and blues.

I love anything to do with the USA. America is definitely my spiritual home.. maybe it's cos my birthday is July 4th ;) (although I haven't been there yet!). My dream is to do a roadtrip across America on Route 66.

I also like watching films, gaming and, of course, crafting ;)

I love anything a bit quirky, kitsch or downright weird. I'm interested in anything a bit different - vampires, zombies, wicca, magic, unicorns, dragons, retro stuff, Victoriana, antiques, tea, candles, Americana, Route 66, the Midwest, cowboys, the Beat generation, 1940's and 1950's (anything to do with those decades), rockabilly, skulls, cupcakes, leopard print and 80's movies XD

I love all kinds of music - punk, rock, metal, blues, country, motown, soul, '50's music. Some of my all-time favourite bands are: Misfits, NOFX, Descendents, Offspring, The Cure, Isley Brothers, AFI, Free, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Blink 182, Cock Sparrer, Sham 69 and Stiff Little Fingers. I'm open to any genre of music though and I do enjoy a lot of older music too :)

There are so, so many books that I adore... I'll just list a few here... E.T., Gremlins, Uncle Buck, Dirty Dancing, Ghost, Beetlejuice, Lost Boys, Back to the Future, The Breakfast Club, This is Spinal Tap, Here's some others I love: The Green Mile, Shawshank Redemption, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, American Beauty, The Virgin Suicides, Girl Interrupted, Fight Club, Ghost World, Blow, Edward Scissorhands, Corpse Bride, On The Waterfront, all the Harry Potter films, Donnie Darko, The Butterfly Effect, A.I, Pulp Fiction, Hot Fuzz, Dumb and Dumber and more.

Peep Show, Alan Partridge, Father Ted, Eastenders, Coronation Street, Casualty, The Apprentice, documentaries, anything about America, Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, Hell's Kitchen, Ramsay's Kitchen NIghtmares, Undercover Boss, Secret Millionaire. I have to admit, I love a bit of telly and always have it on in the background while I'm crafting!

Mainly sewing, making plushies (esp sock monsters!) and papercrafts, journalling, scrapbooking, card making, altered books. I also love making ATCs but I'm up for giving anything a try! ^^

I also love anything related to Halloween - witchy stuff, pumpkins, skulls, black cats - you get the idea :)

I love mythical creatures - unicorns, dragons, vampires, zombies, gnomes, fairies, wizards, imps.. All that sort of stuff fascinates me.

A QUICK NOTE: I am a smoker and I do have pets so could never guarantee that the odd stray hair will never get into a package, although I always try my best to avoid this, and I never smoke whilst making up my swaps :-)

I have recently started collecting postcards - preferably sent naked and stamped. My favourite types are American postcards, sent from America... cards from your city/state, pictures of the USA etc. I have a burgeoning little collection developing! :D
