I am married with four grown up children. I work in two fields, libraries and as an integration Aide in schools. In my spare time I like to do patchwork, sashiko, read and go ten pin bowling I have a pug named Molly and four chickens.

I live in Melbourne, Australia and it's a great place to live. My only complaint is the weather, Melbourne is known for its ability to have four seasons in one day, I don't like Winter and feel as though Winter here is so very cold. I know when I see temperatures around the world our Winter isn't too bad but to me it is dreadful!

Another favourite past time is travel. Over the last few years my husband and I have started travelling internationally, prior to that we travelled all over Australia with our children. Now they are grown up it is time to explore the world. We have been to China, Vietnam, Singapore, Costa Rica, California and Cambodia. Later this year we are off to the Uk. We often add a cruise to our trip. It is a very relaxing way to travel and see different places, of course you only get to see a small area of the places you visit but we use them as tasters.

Books - I'm an avid reader and will read anything, loved To kill a mocking bird. Love Jodi Picoult, Charity Norman , Mankell.

Music - like theatre music ie Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera etc, also like Australian rock / pop

My favourite crafts are patchwork, sashiko, mosaics and have done some pocket letters. I tend to follow patterns wish I was creative enough to make my own patterns. I tend to sew in blues, but as I get older I am experimenting with more and more colours. I love fabric and really think you can't have too many!

I can not stress enough that I have NO intention of flaking. If you have not received something PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me know PRIOR to giving me a bad rating so I can mend it and send a resend if necessary or look up the tracking number if its a larger package.

I think I collect way too many things, and would love a tip on displaying and or storing some of these... I collect Thimbles Babushka Dolls Teapots Clocks and Fabric I've also started collecting vintage sewing machines, this was as a result of being given one for Christmas. I had to buy a vintage sewing machine table to put it on, and when I did I discovered another sewing machine in the table...and so it began.

I love reading. I like a wide variety of books the only ones I don't seem to enjoy are biographies. I read sagas, mystery and contemporary novels.

Favourite authors include: Marian Keyes, Henning Manuel, Janet Evanovich, Lesley Pearce, Jodi Picoult and Kristen Hannah. There are a lot of other authors that I enjoy too.
