Hello from Texas. My name is Joy and I am married to the funniest guy ever and mom to 3 great kids, which are all adults now. And a grandma to two granddaughters ❤️

I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer 2/21 and had to stop swaps for awhile. 1/2022 Update: I have completed my chemo and radiation and looking forward to feeling better in 2022 after reconstructive surgery. When I was recovering my daughter reached out and many of you sent me the most beautiful mail. I was too ill to send thank you to each of you, I really appreciate it. Thank you so very much. Swapping is so much fun and also the highlight of the day for my husband who brings in the mail :)

I love all things fun or funny. Life is too short not to find laughter in almost all things😊. I love to pray so feel free to send me a prayer request in your mail. I have been in Moms in Prayer International for 13 years. I also have been filling Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes for 18 years, If you send something extra for children, it will go in a shoebox for little ones:)

I make t-shirt, denim, and yo-yo quilts. Also like to do paper crafts. Love to sew, making Teesha Moore squares, crafts, crotchet and decorate for all the holidays. You will most likely receive something from me that I have made. I like to read mysteries, have recently found listening to audiobooks while I sew to be wonderful! I love the thrill of the find in going to thrift stores with my daughters. Finding needle work that others have made is a treasure. Also old photographs. I'm not picky, anything you take the time to send, I will be grateful to get.

Anything with Sunflowers or Daisies Small forest creatures, squirrels, rabbits, foxes. All kinds of tea, Yogi Egyptian Licorice is very good. I know it sounds weird but doesn’t taste like licorice. Love anything made out of recycled materials. It’s so creative.
