My name is Jillian. I am a mother who loves to meet new people! I am a Master Gardener and have had a beehive. I aspire to be an engineer. I also have recently started to play roller derby. It isn't really like the stereotype; it is a fun sport with a great group of women.

I especially love travel. I have a wanderlust that will never be tamed. My children and I are planning/saving for a trip to Australia. I want us to spend months there and really appreciate everything about that country. New Zealand and Fiji are also must do's.

With this wanderlust comes the desire to learn about different places/regions. I would love to hear about where you're from. I'd especially love to receive a recipe specific to your area. 4x6 recipe cards with your name would be absolutely the best thing I could receive!!

I have 3 kids. We were fortunate enough to live in Europe for several years. We tried to travel and bike as much as we could. I miss living there :)

We would welcome pen pals. My kids are 12, 8, and 4, but they only speak English. They have definitly lost their German. Please send me a private message if your child is interested.

My absolute, all time fav is John Grisham. I really enjoy that legal who dunit genre. Right now I am reading The Secret Garden. I want to work my way through all the classics. Next on my list is Mary Poppins.

I enjoy being creative, but I don't think I'm that great. An A for effort??? I love to scrapbook :) I want to try to zentangles and ATCs. I spend most of my time cooking or working in the garden.

I love to cook healthy meals for my family. I make most everything from scratch. I have nothing against pre packaged stuff, but I chose not to use it. Most of the time :) We also lean vegetarian, but we still eat meat.

I would love to receive recipes on 4x6 recipe cards (but otherwise is good as well!) I like them to fit on my cute box & in someone else's handwriting. I would also enjoy recipes from different places around the world. Like red beans and rice from Louisiana, and Snitzel or Vanilla Kipferl from Germany. Please send recipes that you love to prepare. Family recipes are treasured.

I just want to say something about flaking. I did flake on a zine swap. But, it was 4 years ago! I would hope that you would allow for the fact that sometimes people make mistakes, and that it isn't necessarily indicative of character. If you feel that you cant associate with me because I'm imperfect & made a mistake 4 years ago then I'm sorry you feel that way.
