I'm taking a temporary break from SwapBot while I complete my student teaching. I hope to become active again sometime around April. Happy swapping in the meantime!

I'm studying to be a high school science teacher at WSU. My boyfriend is currently working on a doctorate in physics at University of Oregon, and I hope to join him there after I get my Masters degree. We have two dogs (Ebony and Diego) and enjoy geeky things like video games and superheros. I have a quirky sense of humor and take pleasure in odd things such as my zombie-octopus necklace, and my giant, blue, ceramic pear.

My sister @CarrotsKanFli is also on Swap-bot.

Movies - Chick Flicks and Comedies. Other movies that aren't in the above categories that I think are cool. Some examples: The Holiday, Mel Brooks films, Star Trek.

TV Shows - Futurama, Dr. Who, Big Bang Theory, Star Trek especially the Original Series (Bones is HOT!). Firefly - despite the fact that Wash dies in the movie which makes me sad. Other super sweet shows like that.

Books - Fantasy, Romance and Mysteries.

Music - Pop and Classic Rock.

Games: Peggle, World of Goo, Mario Kart, World of Warcraft, Sims 3, Spore, Plants vs Zombies

Super awesome cool stuff. ZOMBIES and other monsters. Robots. Steam punk. DC Superheros. Retro theme. Cupcakes. Owls and other wildlife. Science! Zentangles and Zetiology. Macabe, dark, or gothic themes. Body parts, especially skeletons and eyes. I'm not easily offended and enjoy funny or rude jokes, especially sexual innuendos, etc. "4 letter words" and other "inappropriate" things. Gods and Goddesses and mythology. I like all colors, and am more interested in how you use colors than what they are, but my favorite combination is light blue and orange. I also like people who read profiles (yay for you!)

Things that are TOO adorable - some kawaii is ok. Mostly I don't like art with cute children playing with fuzzy kittens, etc. Marvel superheros. Bandwagons. Religious iconography or otherwise. I love the US but I'm not into extreme patriotism. Prudes. People who think things are "stupid" just because they don't like them.

I love making ATCs because I don't scrapbook but I LOVE scrapbooking stuffs like the fun paper and embellishments. I also enjoy incorporating my own drawing and painting into the swap if I feel like I can do a good job or if the swap calls for it. I also sew, but my sewing machine is crappy. I took a couple ceramics classes and I've wanted my own kiln for forever (one day...). Paint-your-own pottery places will only sustain me for so long.... I also admire but have never really done glass art.

I'm posting photos of my ATCs on Flickr, there are pics of ones I haven't sent yet so beware of spoilers. ;) Please feel free to leave comments!

Also FYI I will never ever flake so if you don't receive something from me please let me know before rating. More than likely my mail lady went postal (get it?) and took it. ;)

Also I would rather receive something late that you put a lot of love and care into than something you quickly threw together right before the swap deadline. I'm very aware that there is life outside of swap-bot. A PM to let me know you didn't forget about me is always nice though.

I LOVE profile swaps. Nothing makes me happier than when I get something specially tailored to me. (hint hint) ;)

While I don't expect extras (nor do I send them), if you really insist on sending me things here is a list of stuff I could use: Punches, ribbon, brads, stamped images, other odds and ends that are unique and interesting. I have a ton of paper so I don't need more.
