I'm a happily married, 40 something, mother of 3 and grandmother of 1. I've also been a professional longarm quilter since 2000.

I love color done by others, but most of my own peices are Black-Grayscale. My Copic sketch marker collection is growing though! I love pen and ink on paper. I've also become addicted to Zentangle and Zentangled Inspired Art.

Some of my favorite artists are Gustav Klimt, Wassily Kandinsky, Claude Monet, Alfred Gockel, Vincent Van Gogh, Erté, William Morris and Leonora Carrington. I'm also a huge fan of Tim Burton's art and style. Quirky and spooky. I enjoy a good haunted house or ghost story/movie, but don't like slasher movies with their blood and gore.

Two of my favorite artists on Etsy.com are Megan Suarez (love her Sugar Skulls) and The Octopode Factory.

I also love the Arts and Crafts Movement which includes Art Nouveau, Art Deco, Gustav Stickley and Frank Lloyd Wright.

I collect pink depression glass, cowbells, sleigh bells, anything monkey (especially sock monkeys). I'm eclectic and enjoy about anything out of the ordinary.

I collect Movie Soundtrack Instrumentals and have a huge playlist. I've been crushing on Danny Elfman since I was a teen. I'm also very fond of contemporary bluegrass. However, I spend most of my time listening to podcasts. Anything on the Toad Hop Network and anything having to do with Kevin Smith's Network.

Documentaries are always high on my list. Watch "Dear Zachary" if you ever get a chance. The Shinning, Frida, The Piano, Little Miss Sunshine, Munich, Elizabeth, Young Victoria, The Dutchess, Girl With a Pearl Earring, Capote, Fargo, Pulp Fiction and anything with Daniel Craig in it. Plus I'll go see anything that Tim Burton has to do with.
