For those looking to see where I've dissappeared to... I've had a breakdown and I'm just getting my life back on track thanks to a psychiatrist and medication. At the minute I'm getting my finances back on track then I'll be catching up with the housework so my kids have clean school clothes daily, once these are back on track I will be catching up on swaps.
I am not going to flake you can be sure of that but at the moment I am not feeling strong enough to check my emails or messages, please give me a week to recover some strength and I'll reply to you shortly.
Thank you for understanding and thank you for your patience.
Hi!
First of all thank you for visiting my profile :)
I am an engaged mum of three children, one tween girl, a tween boy and a baby boy. I am devoted to my children and enjoy spending as much time as possible with them.
I have a disability that means I cannot work, I therefore spend most of my time either doing housework or looking after children. Because I cannot enjoy sports or socialising like other people, I tend to spend my spare time crafting so finding this site was an amazing opportunity to craft and share my passion with other people.
I hope to make plenty of friends with similar interests on this site.
Things I Like
My favourite crafts include Crochet, which I taught myself many years ago.
Also knitting which I am still learning and quilting which I am following a magazine course to create my fist quilt.
I am new to papercrafts such as ATC's and have recently learnt the joys of zentangling as a form of meditation. I hope to improve my skills on these.
Finally I have always had a passion for writing but don't seem to get the time to write anything substantial. Maybe this will change soon.
I like celtic music and classical opera and symphonies. I'm not too keen on heavy metal and prefer something with a decent tune and melody.
I play the flute and I'm teaching DD the recorder.
The only books I read really are factual books. I have loads of craft books and love art journalling books. Like to look at the different ways people choose to express themselves. I also have a lot of baby and children raising books.
I don't tend to watch tv. This is because I'm too busy around the house. When I do sit down I'm crafting and I sometimes have documentaries on in the background such as embarrassing bodies and other weird programs.

Keeping up goals/ resolution comment Hi Victoria, Congratulations on your engagement. I hope you have great wedding plans.
Also welcome to Swap Bot. It is a great site and a great way to meet people and learn about different crafts and such. I knit and crochet too. I am selftaught on both I guess. I cant read patterns to save myself. I love your craftiness already I hope you are having a good weekend!
Hi Victoria! I hope all is well on your end. I see that you enjoy crafts, and swap bot is definitely the perfect place for that :) Here's a quote that I hope is motivational for keeping up goals/ resolutions "Hey Carolina! I'm one of your partners for the resolution comment :) I see that you're from Northern California, I live in Sacramento. I see that you're engaged, I hope that the wedding planning is going smoothly and may you two have a life time of love and happiness. I also saw that you're returning from taking a break, that's awesome! Enjoy the rest of the year, and I leave you with a quote, "You control your future, your destiny. What you think about comes about. By recording your dreams and goals on paper, you set in motion the process of becoming the person you most want to be. Put your future in good hands - your own." Take care- Florence
