I have been pen-palling for years and really enjoy it, I love writing/receiving letters. If a swap item does not reach you please message me, but please keep in mind that international swaps can take anywhere from 2-6 weeks to arrive.
I am in my 30s and I live on a small dairy farm with my husband and son and 4 cats! I have been told that once you hit 3 cats you are entering crazy cat lady territory! My husband has not protested too much about it! We love living on a farm, though it would be nice if the grass would cut itself. It is nice living in an area where you know everyone nearby. I work as an environmental specialist.
I like most colours, my favourites are purple, green and blue, I don't really care for neon colours.
I love reading, I read mostly fantasy and fiction, as well as some science fiction and romance. It's so relaxing to curl up by the woodstove with a cup of tea or coffee and a book. I have penpals, there is something special about receiving a handwritten letter in the mail, building friendships with people you would otherwise likely have never met. It's not instant like so many things these days and it has a much more personal feel than electronic communication. I dabble a bit in various crafts, but with young children I don't have much time for it. In nice weather I love getting outside and gardening and hiking. I absolutely love pictures, I take a lot of pictures...thank goodness for digital cameras! I love looking at old black and white photos as well.
I love the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan, the Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind, the series A Song of Fire and Ice by George RR Martin, almost anything by Mercedes Lackey, The Earths Children series by Jean Auel, I also like books by Johanna Lindsey, Mary Balogh and Julia Quinn. I also read other authors but these are my favourites.
Robin Hood Prince of Thieves, Braveheart, Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, Shrek, Ice Age, Disney movies, Star Wars, Starship Troopers, Time Machine, Gone With the Wind, Under the Tuscan Sun, The Ugly Truth, and many more, but this should give you an idea of my varied interests.
The Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, Duck Dynasty, Till Debt Do Us Part, American/Canadian Pickers, Pawn Stars, Storage Wars & Fringe. I really love Supernatural and Game of Thrones. I also watch tend to watch mainly HGTV, TLC, Discovery and Histroy.
