UPDATE: Over two years ago, I had a perfect 5.0, over 500 5s and over 400 hearts, but then my family and I had several major health and economic crises at the same time, and I went into meltdown and never replaced sent ATCs that were lost in firebombings of local mailboxes, so I got some 1s. Who cares about 1s when your Mom dies? Now, I'm getting to a place of peace and I'm starting to make art again. Two years late, I've replaced the ATCs for the two people who gave me 1s still active here and they've change their ratings to 3s (the third hasn't been active for six months). I hope nobody will ban me from swaps because of those old, repaired 1s.

Like my two cats, I appreciate what is simple, primitive and sensual.

I don't like anything plastic, PINK/cute or violent/insulting, but I do like edgy or challenging work. I love bright colors, as well as quiet earth tones. My favorite colors are mostly warm colors: apricot, lavender, red/orange/yellow/rust, purple, mustard, tan, brown, spring green (like new grass).

I write poetry and make quilts, collages, linoleum cut prints, and pyzanki (Ukrainian-style decorated eggs). I like abstract geometrics, the surreal and the whimsical. I especially love visual puns--I love to laugh!
