Hello All...

Uhm.... What to say about myself. I guess I'll start with my age... I am 30 years old and still trying to find my "Adult" self. I am the mother of one daughter who is the center of my universe. She is 5 years old and just started Kindergarten in September and boy does she get ALOT of homework she likes it though I am glad I have a child that loves to learn... that's a blessing. I currently live with my daughter, my mother, and one of my sisters(she's a twin)in Chicago, Illinois and I hope to leave one day for warmer climates!

I am an avid movie goer - I get movies in the mail from NetFlix and go to the movies at least once or twice a week. I love looking at art and listening to music, going out to eat new foods, and enjoy spending time with friends and family. I am also always on the computer doing something. I am usually at www.Pogo.com playing games under the user Pisces387 - I love Gin and Solitaire and many other games. I also like to read blogs I know I will need glasses before it is all said and done I am known to stay up into the wee hours of the night sitting in front of the screen in a dark room. They need an internet 12 step program. It's like I will sit down and look up and 3-4 hours will have passed already.

I have read a few profiles and everyone makes themselves sound so nice, but I want to be honest. I am the nicest person until you get on my bad side. I will do anything for you until that point. I do hold grudges and I am judgemental to a degree (but isn't everyone), but I am very friendly and inquizative (I hope I spelled that correctly) and love to learn about things that are new to me.. that includes new cultures, new foods, new places or areas to visit etc... I am almost curious to a fault. I have been told by many people on many occasions that I ask too many questions, but I thought questions were good. Anywhoo...

When I say I am trying to find my adult self I mean I still don't know what my meaning and purpose is in this life. I wish I knew and am on a constant search for what makes me happy.. I hope I am not expecting too much and don't miss something that is right in front of my face. When I finished high school I went to college with the hopes of becoming a OBGYN.. but that didn't work out... as my father said Science lets you know how smart you really are... I guess he was right LOL (R.I.P. DAD) then I changed my major to communications, then Human Resource Management, then to Physical Education, then to Graphic Arts which I finally did finish but hated all the while doing it. And in between going to college I went to Bartending school as well. I just don't know what I want to do. I just want to be happy working and not feel like I am going to a job that I HATE.

• My favorite color is Red, but I have been really attracted to Green. My close second favorite colors are Orange and Yellow LUV IT!

• I love anything with Fruit on it especially pears and apples (except the country look - like the kinds people have in their kitchens)

• I have a love for Asian cultures from their food to their history to their script it's so artistic and organic and beautiful to look at

• I like trying new foods & candies so if you know of any food related Swaps let me know Please

• I like the numbers 3 and 8

• I love anything to do with fish, mermaids, and Pisces related items

• I love vivid colors and stripes, and funky designs, patterns and plaids

• I like flowers and gardening. I LOVE Roses, Lillies, Tulips, Hyacinths, Hibiscus', Clemantis, Iris', Dahlia's just to name a few, but I have both flower and vegetable garden beds in my yards. I enjoy them so much the beauty of flowers and working on them and knowing they flourish partly because of the work you do with the earth

• I love Photography - I took a couple of classes while in school and I like interesting pics of people places landscapes I love Pics of flowers and things Micro mini I and I like abstract photos and if you look at my Flickr page you will see mostly pics of my family I love taking photos of them I don't know why I don't take pics of my outings but I will start for 2008

• I like candy - Any red flavor and Chocolate (especially with almonds or toffee but not coffee flavored) - the one flavor that I don't like is orange I don't like orange anything to eat or drink no oranges no organge Soda and no orange candy but I love the color Orange

• I love Soca and Island music it reminds me of my travels

• I LOVE to travel

• I like lady bugs and stars and hearts

• My next big thing that I am interested in is Bento items. I have been reading lots of blogs and keeping my eye out for interesting site for anything Bento related so if you have any good info or websites or know of any Bento swaps let me know I am so hungry for Bento items and info

• Kawaii

• Totebags, any bags for that matter - coin purses, slings, little cute bags you can fit in your hand, but no make-up bags don't wear make-up

• Things from other places/countries especially Asian items

I am not a cat or a dog person - but I do love fish.

Things with Snakes & Skulls on them

Make-up - but I do like lip gloss

Vintage anything - I just don't like old things.

Books... so many read...too many to name...

I know I don't like Romance or generally Biographies/Autobiographies.

I love books by Dean Koontz, J. California Cooper, Steven Barnes, J. K. Rowling, Wilbur Smith, Lian Hearn, Amy Tan, and so many more.

I have a collection of cookbooks, I don't know what it is about them but when I see them I can't seem pass them without picking up at least one. Some of the ones I own are: The Crockpot Cookbook, the Potato Cookbook, Cookies Cookbok, Asian Cookbook, Vegetarian Cookbook, Costco Cookbook, Weight Watchers Cooks, Mexican Cookbook, and Pillsbury Cookbook just to name a few. There's nothing like a good cookbook

Some of my favorite books are : In Search of Satisfaction, My Soul to Keep, The Living Blood, All the Harry Potters, Warlock, Eragon etc....

I have read so many books... I like mysteries, sci-fi, thrillers, urban fiction, fantasy, and anything that's a good story if it's not romance or non fiction

I am a reality show FANATIC I basically watch them all Survivor, The Amazing Race, Big Brother, The Biggest Loser, I Love New York, The Real World, College Hill, Making the Band, WifeSwap, Homemaker, Solitary... and many more

I think it's an obsession

Wow so many to name, I love Foreign Films if it has sub-titles then it's the one for me

I really enjoy watching fantasy and period pieces some of my favorites are:Any Jane Austin movie, The Princess Bride, The Never Ending Story, Brave Heart, Lord of the Rings (All Movies), Harry Potter (All films), The Postman, Dances with Wolves, Memoirs of a Geisha, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Farewell my Concubine, The Patriot (the one with Mel Gibson), Gladiator, The Curse of the Golden Flower, Hero (with Jet-Li), The Mummy movies (part 1 & 2), All the Mad Max movies, Robin Hood (with Kevin Costner), First Knight, Bicentennial Man, and Legend just to name a few.

I love Asian and British films their sense of humor is so different from ours LOVE IT

I love so many movies anything Mel Gibson makes I will go see, I loved the Curse of the Golden Flower, Hot Fuzz, The Last King of Scotland, Oceans 13, Stardust, Superbad, Babel, 300, Blades of Glory, Live Free or Die Hard, Freedom Writers, Harry Potter & the Order of the Phoenix, Spiderman 3, Talk To Me, I am Legend, The Kingdom, Shrek the Third, and Pirates of the Carribean At Worlds End... and many more that's a few from 2007 I didn't even name other movies that I like I just love the movies there's nothing else like it (except a book) to take you to another place

I love all types of music (R&B, Pop, House, Dance, Classical, Reggae/Soca etc...) except Country, Heavy Metal or Light Metal and Metal I don't like any metal, and Rock. If it moves me I will listen. Some of my favorite artists are:
